yep, you need to have a custom firmware to do this. if your psp is not yet hacked, just put chickhen onto it and upgrade using hellcat's recovery flasher.

GEN-A is CUSTOM FIRMWARE!!! The M33 crew got lazy so the GEN crew took over and made it even better than what M33 can give. GEN-A Runs all ISO and the recovery menu has way more than M33 has like "Convert your battery to either pandora, auto-boot battery, or regular battery" Theres more features but you got to download and update to find out.

you have to either make a pandora battery (you would have to hardmod it cuz you have ofw) and you would have to either make or buy a magic memory stick.

I didnt use this tutorial but 5.02 ge fucking awsome if I new that I can change my pandora battery back to normal from recovery mode then I wouldnt of fucking gotten a new battery.
