@SiosianaT Because she promised her "mother" that if she's allowed to heal him with her hair's magic powers, she would not go against her "mother" 's wish to stay with her. Since he didn't want her to suffer from that fate, he robbed her hair of the magic power by cutting it off.
I love it... this is so... amazing...so...emotional... I love this scene in this wonderful movie... and now... this song... I can not describe what I feel... I hope someday someone will love me like Ryder loves Rapunzel...
@HerosMark777 if i could right now i would constantly give this a thumbs up untill there is about a million of them lol, when i first heard this i thought the exact same thing, It totally suits the movie and brings back those tears when she tries to bring him back to life, sniffle....
Love love love this movie I laughed like a hyena I cried like a bloody baby when Eugene died I was like Oh poor Rapunzel the poor girl is bloody heartbroken that the man she loves was dying and lost alot of blood. I swear if he died in this and never woke up it would have probably been the most depressing movie ever but then I figured Disney can't do that so thank god he lived in the end alleliua. T:T sad video.
