Please look at the other video "Lake Tawakoni fish release" that shows the release of THREE big fish including this 62 pounder. It swam away in good shape. Have a nice day.

they may swim away, but they later die from damage done to them. dragging across the ground removed all the slime off the fish also... that slime is a protectant for the fish... the slime prevents parasites/infection....and i dont think i need to say what damage holding/weighing by the gills does.  look @ it this way... you can shoot a deer, and he run away, but he later dies (not hating on the video just trying to educate you and others) PLEASE HANDLE THEM WITH CARE!

no need releasing after being drug, and then strung up by gills.... my as well taken him to the dinner table, cause he surely died later
