What about the possibility of him PLANNING the baby's death? Perhaps he helps encourage the mother indirectly to give an abortion and if he fails, he will make a miscarriage occur. He can do this to teach the parents a lesson about something, who knows what.
@04kindheart, the best evidence from science has shown us that dreams are most likely a product of the combination of random neuron firings mixed with your brain recording the memories it made during the day. I would guess that a baby dreams about things like sucking its thumb and reacting to stimuli outside of the womb (mom's heart, music, voices, etc.). All babies are naturally born atheist and have no concept of god until this concept is introduced to them. But I agree, babies are precious.

Since when does someone choosing to get an abortion affect anyone here in any way? Most abortions are performed before 12 weeks gestation (10 weeks fetal age), before the fetus can feel pain. Keep your religion out of my uterus.

@jhoiberg If a woman goes into preterm labor at 14 weeks, doctors won't try to save the fetus's life since it CANNOT survive outside of the womb on its own. At 24 weeks, there's a chance of the baby surviving outside of the womb. Logically, no one's going to try to save the life of someone or something who has no chance of surviving.

Abortions are available up until 3 months. Terry Schiavo was alive too, and not many brain waves either. Yet her heart was still beating. Until they had to pull the plug on her after several years. Either way, at that stage, abortion is endangering to the woman if done properly.
If people want to adopt, let them. There is already a large population and even if there aren't too many children up for adoption at the time, international adoption is always available. Abortion wont erase the trauma of the event, but would that person want to see the reminder of a crime pretty much every day?

@04kindheart, the best evidence from science has shown us that dreams are most likely a product of the combination of random neuron firings mixed with your brain recording the memories it made during the day. I would guess that a baby dreams about things like sucking its thumb and reacting to stimuli outside of the womb (mom's heart, music, voices, etc.). All babies are naturally born atheist and have no concept of god until this concept is introduced to them. But I agree, babies are precious.

@jhoiberg If a woman goes into preterm labor at 14 weeks, doctors won't try to save the fetus's life since it CANNOT survive outside of the womb on its own. At 24 weeks, there's a chance of the baby surviving outside of the womb. Logically, no one's going to try to save the life of someone or something who has no chance of surviving.

If society would make it easier for a woman to have these kids they would have no reason to resort to abortion. @jjune8081 who are you to decide on behalf of others? are you the authority? if a woman (or a couple) does not want the baby, then abortion is an option. if you find that wrong, that is your problem, than do not have an abortion when you get pregnant. but you cannot judge other people, you have no right. everybody decided for himself. + it is apparent that you have no idea about darwinism, it does not say that we came from monkies, read it, it is a precious piece of work.

This video is absolutely correct. If a man rapes a woman and gets her pregnant, well, why not have the baby? ;D the rapist went through all that trouble! your gonna make the rapist feel bad. :( Or how about when the a woman isn't ready to have a baby and in debt without money and the father leaves, not the least bit ready to have a baby. Why not ruin your life and have it instead of waiting for the right man? :D

@DukeHowland yeah, I'm generally pro-choice, but I'm 6 months pregnant and have obviously been educated about the processes the occur during pregnancy, and the facts presented in this video are very straight-forward and accurate. I'm not sure where exactly there to be any inconsistencies as you claim. I mean, other than all the religious propaganda at the end, which doesn't make any scientific claims anyway.

Abortions are available up until 3 months. Terry Schiavo was alive too, and not many brain waves either. Yet her heart was still beating. Until they had to pull the plug on her after several years. Either way, at that stage, abortion is endangering to the woman if done properly.

If people want to adopt, let them. There is already a large population and even if there aren't too many children up for adoption at the time, international adoption is always available. Abortion wont erase the trauma of the event, but would that person want to see the reminder of a crime pretty much every day?

@angelmom3950 Ideally, I'd like to get an IUD, since I'm only 22. Even though I've loathed children my entire life, there's always the chance my mind will change when I'm 30. :P But thank you for the advice. I didn't know insurance would cover birth control... I'll look into it.

Why oh why does religion hate the tuth so much. Lets just be honest, people who came up with it were alaive thousands of years ago, they thought the earth was flat and were generally pretty unsavy. Read some science books people.

Not trying to get into religion, for birth, itself, is the real beauty, but. You are naming sources, so I do have to ask, out of interest, are these facts you refer to, the so called 'facts' before the bible comes into play? In other words, please define what you call 'facts' here. Also, could you give me an url to the 'mayo clicic'. (Never heard of them), but since you refer to them as an accademic source I would realy appreciate it if you could let me approach them for a thesis i'm writing

Nowhere in the bible will you find that the Earth is flat, on the contrary, "It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in". (Isaiah 40:22) Men can be wrong both in science and religion, BUT GOD IS NEVER WRONG. THE BIBLE IS GODS AUTHENTIC TRUTH TO MANKIND.

@DukeHowland religion or not abortion is bad according to our constitution,i believe the fifth amendment says no one will be denied life, liberty, or the pursuit of happiness, once that sperm hits that egg they are no longer a sperm or an egg, if DNA starts to be form then, its a human, and has as much rights as you or me

@DukeHowland My parents (3 of them, stepdad) are ingeneers and science is a thing we discuss all the time around the table, but I still believe in god. People like you want to decide for other people to not believe. And i thought we had democracy. I read science books and this video doesn't even touch religion, so why are you bringing it up, to say that the video is wrong?
