Right, this is not a V8. No Genesis coupe will come with a V8--they couldn't fit one in there. This one started with the stock 3.8L V6, but they modified it heavily--I think it now produces around 550hp, up from 306 stock.

Did you even watch the video??? It's the Genesis COUPE, not sedan----the sedan comes in V6 or V8 versions, but the Coupe does not. Hyundai's Tau V8 won't fit in the engine bay. Turbo 4 and V6--that's it.

there we planning on releasing a genesis coupe with the v8 form the genesis sedan but the idea was scrapped

@noobynico Actually the highest package available is the Track 3.8 V6. It is available in an Automatic or Manual drivetrain.

It can come with a 3.8 L V6 engine with 306 HP, as well as a 2.0l Turbo, Brembo braking system,- Electronic Stability Control with Traction Control System

- Anti-lock Brake System with Electronic Brake-force Distribution and Brake Assist

I believe this is powered by the 4 cylinder turbocharged engine, not a V8. Nor is it a mustang killer but it can.
