So in the case of the US, instead of letting the entire system crash and letting people suffer there way out of the recession, governments can try to ease the country into producing again. Unfortunately that is not what is happening.

the whole point of investing is that the return should be higher than the rate of inflation. If you stick money under your mattress it actually gets devalued through inflation. The thing about investing though obviously is that you can lose money, lol. So yea, for savings, gold tends to be pretty good since it holds its value pretty well.
I took some of my IRA money and Invested in the United States Oil Fund, I knew it would go way down by doing this because I always lose, but I wanted to help everyone save money.

the whole point of investing is that the return should be higher than the rate of inflation. If you stick money under your mattress it actually gets devalued through inflation. The thing about investing though obviously is that you can lose money, lol. So yea, for savings, gold tends to be pretty good since it holds its value pretty well.

I helped the people save on heating Oil & Gas.
I took some of my IRA money and Invested in the United States Oil Fund, I knew it would go way down by doing this because I always lose, but I wanted to help everyone save money.
I lost a lot on my IRA investment, but I am saving on Heat and Gas for my car. Its sort of like getting a Dividend!

that will NEVER happen. Savage is in too deep talking about the need to attack "islamo-fascism" in the middle east. He even said last night (11/25/08), that Obama will not do "enough" to keep us safe, and that a powerful military presence in the middle east is neccessary to prevent more terrorist attacks. Savage is right about a lot of things, but his stand on foreign policy keep him from being a Paul supporter.

kqwad I was also upset about Savage's statements about Ron Paul. I really think that the conservative talk show hosts just didn't understand that our economy was more of a threat than terrorism.
