Unless you use a bonafide heat tool, nothing else works too well. You can get a heatgun at Michaels or any local craft store with one of their coupons or on ebay.
hi there..i dont have a heat gun/tool, so i tried a few things, i stamp the paper with my clear stamp, then put the embossing powder, didnt work with blow dryer, tried the toaster, the embossing powder dried but it didnt melt? can you pls. tell me whats wrong? tnx
Instead of using a blowdryer (I don't have a heat tool), I hold my project to be embossed with tweezers. Then, I hold it over my toaster. I've scorched a few things when I held the piece inside the toaster. The best thing is just to hold it over the top of the toaster. Happy scrapping! -Dera
