i dont think this psp touchscreen stuff will ever make it i really dont see a good control for game playing i never see this type of mod with game playing only home screen control , up, down, right , left,  that sucks dude what is the porpuse? its boring!!!!! hey man sorry just my opinion im a psp modder my self i wont waste time on this.

seems you are going the right route with the custom theme. but why not make the theme compatible with xmb? do you plan on making the touchscreen more interactive or just keep it as only a d-pad?

No, it's not only for my touchscreen projet, it's two independent project. My firmware includes all the functionality of XBM and underground, directly on a firmware, with 3D interface :)

I have include my touchsreen projet on my Xtream Firmware to show both project on one video.

Hello. Im very interested in such psp mods. I was thinking about putting minimalized sliding querty instead of umd drive for phat. there will be enouth space for another battery and pliter module for cooling psp cpu if you want to overclock psp to 400mhz or so. maybee ram/nand chip can be upgraded to 128 mb on psp phat. this with touch screen and heavily modified firmware can become really Xtreme psp =D. i also sugest you placig touch screen addon in faceplate. Just by cutting a hole and stuff.

completly fake all he has done is connected a 360 chatpad with the connector he put in and placed a touch pad above the screen so it appears that he is pressing on items when he is really just using arrow keys on the 360 chatpad. he also clicks on individual buttons with a high degree of accuracy and this would be impossible without a great big contraption of electronics connected between the screen and the psp to decode input infomation. sorry to tell you but yer its a fake!

In my firmware (Xtreamfirmware that you can see on this video) I don't use chatpad, where were you see that??! And if you think I connect the touchscreen on the chatpad, I say you, it's not too easy to use touchscreen...

See my other video about XtreamTS software, you really think I spend lot of time to do it for fake?? I answer you, NO! I'll product my electronic card for France, but it's too expensive...
