  • This must be the first real amateur images from space, generated by amateur means! Awesome! Congrats!

  • that was spectacular , if you get a chance do another .

  • thats friggin sweet, i wish my dad did cool stuff instead of just smoke crack all day :/

  • great video guys,really interesting

  • Funny. There was more technology in this then there was in the '69 mission that sent man to the moon. Although I'm still a bit skeptical as whether or not we've actually landed on the moon. The space shuttle that did the 1969 launch had less "capabilities" than a modern day FLOPPY DISK. kind of hard to believe

  • That was awesome!!! Awesome video soo cool!

  • No this Vid is Not So!

  • wow amazing great to watch whoever disliked is pretty sad and has nothing else better to do!!!

  • my dad had never done that to me :(

  • Pretty inspirational, great job guys!! Hope you do more projects in the future!

  • These people deserve to go to nasa for a free visit

  • I would've felt bad if the camera broke through someone's roof, or happened to knock out an elderly lady.

  • got to space in 40 mins damn

  • and the best dad of the year goes tooooooo!

  • Im really considering doing this with an iPhone and an Otterbox case to test its durability. If I win the lottery. lol

  • This is so cool! Very impressive! This just goes to show an idea and determination equals "anything can happen"!

  • really enjoyed this ! great work !

  • With this kind of result these guys need to be given a bigger budget! How about NASA giving them 10% of what the agency spends on paperclips for one year? The Geissbuhler's could maybe achieve orbit with that kind of money.

  • Astonishing!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • GREAT JOB, but space begins at 100km, not 30km!!!

    Thump up anyway!!! :D :D :D

  • GREAT JOB, but space begins at 100km, not 30km!!!

  • Sweeeeet!!

  • Not gonna lie, this is the coolest things I've seen on youtube in a really long time. Mad props go to the people involved!

  • Truly amazing. The highest parachute jump in history was done from an altitude of some 20 miles high. About as high as this craft got. In WWII the Japanese tried to bomb the US mainland by doing something similar to this. They sent hundreds of balloons each with one large bomb on board up into the atmosphere, expecting them to land on US mainland soil. Most of them popped in the upper atmosphere before the ever reached the US. But a few were found in CA. One even went off and killed a family.

  • @joscof

Were those the ones with the plague fleas? I was actually thinking about that after I saw this.

It is great that these guys had more success with what they were doing instead.
