Hey man, this whole week I won't have too much time but I'll look into it a.s.a.p.
(BTW, bought the Tiny Terror yesterday and it's a great little amp! Use the Marshall now as a cabinet but I'm going to replace the speaker for a Celestion G12H)
Great! I'm sure your sound will improve. G12H blackback or greenback? Greenbacks were introduced 1978 if I remember right, so John's cabs were armed with the 30W blackbacks, as are mine. It has a thicker sound, which I like.
Greenback. I doubt if the introduction year 1978 is correct because the G12h Greenback was already used by Jimi Hendrix. That is, according to the web shop where I'm planning to buy one.
Hendrix didnt use greenbacks. The standard speakers crapped out on him so he replaced them with Eminences. I think it may have been 1968 also. I cant remember... Need to check. Anyway, based on sound I think john had G12H blackbacks since the sound is thick and bassier than a greenback. Of course, up to you. Maybe try out both?
My Marshall has a Eminence speaker:) Maybe I should just leave it this way instead of throwing around money lol! Ive noticed that the Tiny Terror has a much more thicker tone than the Marshall solid state.
Woody you have such a great guitar tone! I am very impressed with that little Marshall you use. You always get killer tone with any guitar you use! Excellent Post! Keep 'em coming!
Thanks. The Marshall does a great job for a solid state amp but sometimes I miss the warmth of a full-tube and it can be a bitch to filter out the solid state sharpness without loosing clarity .
I went to the complete ramones guitar tab compilation website but it's not like you play. Where can I learn the correct version ?

@SpaceAce2704
I've just checked The Complete Ramones and the chords are correct. F-G-B/C for the main riff.
I grab the B/C as 5th string barre chords at the 2nd and 3rd fret. The lead parts I did by ear.

hehe... I let it depend on the song. Early Ramones I still play on the Eastwood because that sounds more authentic.
