My plant also just started developing balls, so I guess I'll let it grow a little bigger with the other one wrapped around it that I think is also male. They were from the "free" extra seeds anyway, so I didn't pay for them. The ones I paid for are feminized Azura and better turn out female!

The males are still good to smoke all thoose leaves while you wait for some actual bud to grow from the females. With dank bud strains the leaves can be as potent as normal "shwag" weed buds from those mexican crops that get all smashed into bricks.

@MrTrapper1017 Hmm the sweet joy of withnessing the growth of your first "babies" . Make sure not to over water (at night), feel the weight of the pot and make sure that the water is around 24 degrees( first a bit water and 10 minutes later a bit more.)

Yea this guy is rite u dnt cure the plant from drying it out 4 8 days u leave it for a fair few weeks read the cannabis bible m8 thatll tell u u can smoke it after 8 days but itll be shit leave it for weeks n itll taste much better and it will be a lot stronger

6 weeks is WAY too long to hang-dry your herb.

8 days should do it right, then use the Brown Bud Bag method. to finish it off for a day or two before curing. Should feel almost 'overdry' before putting into curing jars.

If you want to RIPE the weed so it taste super sweed and isnt heavy on the troat you go the way of the drying from in side to out and not from outside to in.

The weed needs to ripe just like a banana .

The word you are looking for is "cure".

Curing takes place inside air-tight jars, that is what makes your herb smoother on the throat. NOT hang drying.

If you cut the whole plant and turn it upside don in a dark room it lives for 2 more days and it cures/ripes. Just like a banana ,.. in the jars it keeps curing riping . The thc changes in this period .

when you're harvesting the plant, is there anyway to reduce the smell, maybe put like baking soda?

Their is a good change that the weed will taste like the backing soda, for instance some friends of mine dried some weed in the closeth and burned insentce to (hide) the smell, but after drying the weed and tasting like the insentce they sold it all for cheap because it was destroyed.

Just make a little closet air tight, with some ropes where you hang up the weed,with a small pc ventilator ( make sure the humidity is not above 65-70% and temperature about 21c.

Keep it drying for 4-8 weeks , :D
