Paul Heyman never made it out of the minor leagues except when he was writing for (LOL) Smackdown.
ECW went out of business. Attitude Era saved WWF and made Vince McMahon billions.

Not only did Russo killed WCW with bad ideas (giving the belt to David Arquette), but it also caused WCW to a downward spiral and in the end Jamie Kellner didn't want wrestling on TNT and TBS so he killed it.
