I got side-tracked for a moment by the subsequent discussion about temperament (c-flat versus b-natural) and thus missed your original point. But in spite of this discrepancy, this is as close to a flawless performance of the Godowsky transcription as I have ever heard!

@casalsfan Actually there are different versions of the score. dmitrybachinsky sent me his version and it has A-flat. asv8104 probably has that version too. So does Cherkassky. Hamelin has my version.

I like Godowskys edition better than Silotis, although the latter appears to reflect more true spirit of Camille Saint-Saens original work.
