The ACR is a racecar with numberplates, the Corvette they ran had a full rollcage and all kinds of modifications to post misleading lap times that no showroom car has a chance in hell of reproducing. Fact is.. There are no rules and nobody is responsible for timekeeping or making sure the cars arent modded. Because they would also have to be responsible for safety. Which again is the reason why the track is no longer open for racing. If you crash it could take 20 minutes to get help.

Yea, well with the affordable thing, you see them everwhere. Its always 50 year old dudes driving them as slow as they can so its really nothing to go "WOW!" about when you see one. On the other hand if you saw a Zonda, thats where the wow thing comes in. So why do people envy them? There nothing cool to see. One goes down the road and there pretty well un-noticed. Look at the steering input. He shows no surprises. The car steps out often and he has to overcorrect but that is it. overall it looked like a sunday drive for the car and the driver.

Its obviously impressive when someone manages to drive the ring in 7 minutes but it doesnt make a good car. Inorder to pull that off you need super stiff suspension, race car engine and superlight chassis. Stripping away all things that make the car comfortable and feeling good. Even professional race drivers are scared shitless on the ring when driving that fast. Its also not a very good benchmark. Its 10 times longer than any race track wind / road conditions can add 30 seconds to your time.

Zonda F Clubsport - my favorite supercar ever. It has made a 7.24.7 lap in an Evo Magazine test, although the car was not in perfect shape, with a randomly misfiring cylinder and bent suspension arm, I think. That time could be improved with a 100% fit car. Awesome, great mix of design, elegance and performance.

Believe me, I'm expert in Pagani cars, there are lots of info on the internet about this lap, this a Zonda F with any kind of doubdts. What is more the R was not fully ready when this lap was done and the interior is clearly different, and the exterior is even more different. On the exterior views of this vid it is seen clearly as a F. The R has a Huhe wing, longer tail and nose and some other different details. Maybe the info says R, but it is wrong, definitely. Do a research of the R and see
