WOW!!!!! that is yet another one in a loooong line of good ones!!! this one, i have to say, stood above evreything else....i absolutely love the pic in pic during the video, loved the harmonies (as usual, very well executed) and is it just me, or the way you sang it based on traditional italian singing? it reminded me of the stuff from back in the fifties (which is a good thing in my book) modern song with a retro feel!!

What stood out in this song for me was your producing. You have this amazing ability to mix decades and come up with something not only original but catchy for a modern audience. I decided to check back once after viewing your spectacular "Shoebox" video, and I am not disappointed. Good work, Commisso. You're doing a fine job, and never fail to leave me with a smile and a hint of awe after all of your songs.

I must ask, however; how have you not been noticed by a producer? Someone has bound to be at least interested in the vast talent you possess. Besides, with your large fan-base, it wouldn't be that much of a rocky transition.

Just strange you haven't been found yet.

Alright, now to comment on the song itself. I think the whole concept comparing looking for a lifelong partner with looking for a cheerleader is really cute. I've heard of celebrities saying, "My wife is my biggest fan," and I think it's really sweet. And it's true that your soul mate really should be one who will cheer you on and support you. So I liked the theme of this song. Also, the vocal for "girl" at 1:29 almost had a latin flair, which I thought was smooth. And 1:42 onward is just epic.

@Bakas99 Yes, I am using Reason but it's "Record" that allows you to mix in the real instruments. I build the track in Reason, then import to Record where I add vocals, live piano, drums or whatever. Hope that helps! :)

So, I've been trying to write songs for about nine years now. I've tried just about any style, I've tried different approaches, experiments with sound, voice, etc etc etc. I can honestly say this song is simply miles ahead of anything I could hope to come up with. Perhaps it's all due to hearing a song without having made it that makes me less harsh for any faults I find, but damnit Shack, this was absolutely amazing. Your voice is awesome.
