yes to you guys, Al played at my Nan's wedding way back in 2000, I was 7 and sat and stared at him for like 3 hours as he played. He's amazing, 2 weeks after seeing him I started guitar lessons, im at the top end of grade 7 now, still nowhere near as good as him, I found his page on facebook today, first contact iv had with him in 10 and a half years, I was pretty chuffed. Music is like all I do now, I owe it all to him, thanks for defending him :)

it's played with a pick.... in flamenco this would be done with the fingers (picado)...

why watch a bad cover version of a great tune when you can hear the original from Strunz & Farah? why publicize this kind of shallow imitation? this guy is nothing but an imitator of far more original, talented players, yet he goes around claiming he's such a great guitarist. talk about standing on the shoulders of giants. I don't know who you are but I imagine that you are an excellent and a very well known musician to talk like that.If I think Al Marconi is amazing and the fastest guitarist I've seen it's MY OPINION. I have seen other guitarists playing badly ,no passion. Al composes his own music and people think he is awesome! Have you heard Porcelain Rose, Terra Nova or Nomad ? maybe not but you should and then give your opinion but if you don't like Al at all then don't watch his videos as simple as that

wow, the beauty and magic just seems to flow. I find it amazing that people who were there were talking and just walking around as this man played this. If I had been there it would have been as if I was caught in some total trance unable to speak or turn away from this music. Perhaps someday I might have the good fortune to him play in concert.
