Hi i have winxp and win7 installed on my system, a friend installed it for me. Am i going to get any problem installing osx? I worried about the boot loader thing i dont know how it works
I was thinking of cloning the existing 160GB drive on my Dell Mini 10V with XP to a 250GB drive with unallocated 90GB, then installing OS-X and Linux into partitions in the 90GB, keeping the original XP install. Any reason this would not work?
Also, in Linux have you tried partitions for root, home, and swap? I seemed to have read something about how XP does not like more than four primary partitions on the hard drive.
install chameleon. It Replaces the Boot Loader Prompt for mac os x With a Nice Sleek Os selector, Just google around and youtube it....... Its Worth it! and u can make/change themes!
yup, you sure can. i haven't used it myself but i think its pretty easy. i think easybcd for xp/vista actually uses the grub loader fort its bootloading.
Well, Spaaaaaaank my Freaken' ASS! u r amaaaaaaazing man... i have the wind and i can't do ANYthing with the OS cuz im too scared to do it.. put ur guide dude.. i'm gonna try for sure..

I thought ubunto and linux were differnet os's u said they were the same at the begining.
daruke2 3 years ago
they are basically the same in that ubuntu is a distro of linux. linux is the OS and ubuntu is a distribution/version of linux :)
