i actually bounced off in sub base by accident.. where the two towers are (the roof) i jumped off the the small room with the stairs on the west.. and i accidentally bounced off a rail.. ive been trying to do it again but i cant.. when i jumped the first time and bouncd i remembered i tried to do a 180 drop shot but i guess i landed lying down on the rail or something =O but it was badass

They may have rewritten the gravity scripts so that bouncing did not occur, yet it still does occur, obviously no quite so much, but it does, But if they had changed the scripts then this would not occur at all right? So i have no proof, but being slightly knowledgeable about game design (Although being mostly in the blue) i thought that the only option is that they changed the maps slightly. I might be wrong, who knows.

@precast121 If they changed the gravity, that's changing the engine slightly. The quake 3 engine (which cod4 ran on) allows for bounces because IW didn't change the engine at all back then. For MW2 they did change it. It's kind of obvious lol. And bouncing only works at a certain angle in MW2, so yes it does still occur, but because they made the engine only allow it at an un-usable angle. If they only changed the maps, they wouldn't have allowed for it at all.

it actually is a bounce. but its a bounce that is different than the cod4 bounces. this video was not to show an "awesome, huge" bounce. but to show that bouncing huge bounces is not longer possible on mw2. the angle of which to bounce has been changed so you can only bounce if you are level with the object. so therefore, no big bounces will be possible.

well if you think about it...if i am correct (and i know i am ive done testing for days now) its impossible to find a big bounce. the bounce spot and place you jumped from have to be virtually the same level. so if we find a new way to jump higher/farther (fps?) then bigger bounces will be possible. if we do not find something along those lines then we may just find a rly small bounce that gets you somewhere you couldnt normally strafe to.
