The smoke goes outside the showercap and gets diffused by the slits as it travels up the tube. Hope this helps.

implosion percolator. the smoke gets pulled down and around the outside of the showercap before it gets pulled IN the slits and then UP through the water. this is different than a showerhead stem (like alex K) where the smoke gets pulle out of the showerhead and into the water. check out my vids.

@Syllabolix The showerhead works in reverse of what you'd usually think. The smoke goes down below it, and gets sucked up, along with all of the water into the tube. This creates huge amounts of bubbles and stacking, thus filtration is achieved.

the straw is bound with the pipe around.

So the smoke and water have to get up when you hit the bong!

First the water went upside then the smoke must trough the water if you continue smoking the pipe...

@Aeto nah no AC, i like it how it is , straight shot to the brainstem mang ha- and i sesh it 2-3x a day and it gets cleaned every day if you want it mint..but its personal preference , it could go weeks and just be brownish and still hit fine if i didnt clean it, but thats not classy, and it tastes bad ha

@june372 yes; beakers DO take quite a lot of alcohol to clean...your are absolutely correct on that one. Ive never been a fan of beakers...I don't know, personal preference. Anyways, I have one of these and it takes MINIMAL amnt of water...maybe under 1.0oz! Its VERY effecient design. This makes it the easiest tube I own, when its cleaning time(right b4 bed). Give it a super quick warm-water rinse, & towel rubdown. While this may seem like a pain, its so easy however. iso wash ~4 days

this piece is one of my all time favorites. syn really knows how to make clean, smooth, and delicious hits with absolutely no drag. stemless are the new up and coming way of smoking through glass. another specialty is the brand new ZOB bello percolator (beaker base and straight pipe) but nice vid man

@420wassap No downsides to this piece. Easy to clean just shake salt and 91% isopropyl rubbing alcohol in it with some hot water and it always gets clean. its not fragile it all really thick glass feels like pyrex. Its extremely smooth and big hits but the filtration mixes alot of air with the hit so its real smooth, still can make you cough up a lung though, super smooth anyway- noo drag
