Japans soldiers were more war hardend, they may have not been as well trained as the Germans, but their grit made up for that. They had more fighters, bombers, and pilots. And their navy was three times the size of that of the German Navy. Once again renforcing my point that the US was the most powerful country in WW2

If germany even had a carrier, I have never read abot it and Japan had more than the US. The Mitubishi Zero would have ripped a Meserschmit apart. I am not saying that America has ever screwed up. Recently, it seems to be a trend. I am, however saying that the U.S. has one of the strongest militaries in the world, mainly due to the high-tech equipment utilized by most NATO countries. I am also not saying that Britain is necessarily weak, simply that America is stronger.

Japans soldiers were more war hardend, they may have not been as well trained as the Germans, but their grit made up for that. They had more fighters, bombers, and pilots. And their navy was three times the size of that of the German Navy. Once again renforcing my point that the US was the most powerful country in WW2

And having more bombers/fighters/pilots is nice, but you also have to look at the quality of the aircraft, the countries ability to replace destroyed aircraft,, and the skill and experience of the pilots.

If germany even had a carrier, I have never read abot it and Japan had more than the US. The Mitubishi Zero would have ripped a Meserschmit apart. It was faster, could out climb, and much more manuvrable than the Mes. The only thing the germans woiuld have had on a Zero was armor. Zeros had almost no defensive structure. German and Jap pilots would have been the same

She was only 6 when she came to Manhattan. My father's parents were born in Sicily. I have to tell you that you are making alot of assumptions. I wrote to Nixon in 72 in support of Vietnam. I still have the response (unfortunately a form letter but nice ot have) it is of its era. I gradually figured out that Vietnam was all about imperialism and money. Multinationals had set up base in South Vietnam. The war was all about protecting corporate assets, and war profiteering. That never changes. At 15 I also met William Casey in his house...he was the head of the C.I.A.

Some older than you and probably more worldly gives an opinion after a lifetime of pondering war and other human faults and you refer to that as posting crap. There are many men and women in the military that see things as they are not as they would like them to be. Unfortunately you always get a blind G.I. Joe or Jane. I completely understand what you are saying. I agree with you to some extent. As an active duty member of the military I resent the fact we so called "live" off your tax dollars. While this is true, we provide you with your rights a freedoms. On the other hand you are correct globalization is almost complete. Don't you see that what Eisenhower predicted came true. The military, Industrial, congressional complex...Listen to his speech from Jan. of 1961. We create false enemies for the profits of middle age pigs in the central banks, pentagon, industry and the paid off Congress that lives off of kickbacks from defense lobbyiests. I am 54 and lived through the lie of Vietnam. I watched as the Pentagon took a break from brainwashing because by 1975 it could not be done. They waited about 10 years to capture the brains of a younger generation. It was obvious to me.
By the way, I moved out of my home at 22 and my mother died from an accident 10 years ago. So much for your fiery and hostile imagination....don't you want to learn new information or is it such a threat to what you have believed for so long?

No, I am too educated to waste my time playing Cowboys and Indians. Besides military people live off of my income taxes.
Most of my family served in the German Army. The greatest soldiers in the world. They almost won both wars even though the whole world ganged up on that little country. Speak to German soldiers from WW2. My grandfather fought in WW1 on the German side. He taught me alot about the military as did my other relatives. My family has served in about 5 armies globally.

Oppression? I suggest that you study the Treaty of Versailles of WW1. That treaty signed by reluctant victors created the conditions in Germany that led to National Socialism and Hitler. He did not come out of the blue. As far as WW1 is concerned...if you know history, you will know that most of the ruling heads of Europe were German...that includes the Czar of Russia and the King of England.

Why would they fight and die for people they perceive to be in a cushy world that are staying home? Albert is not buying it. They fight and take the risk of dying which all workers do. They fight because they want military benefits and had a hard time getting a job domestically because the people that are telling them to fight are the same people that outsourced domestic labor. They've been taken for a ride and it takes courage and brains and thinking for oneself to admit this to the self.

No, I was 18 in early 73.....we were still fully in Vietnam...my brother and his friends were older and had the "fraud" figured out.....as history has done. You don't understand the war machine and Congress with their kickbacks. You know nothing of that period. You were not alive or were a child. Bush deliberately blurred the lines between 9/11 (which was allowed to happen) and kept repeating with those other war criminals like Rice, Cheney and Rumsfeld....."Weapons of mass destruction". They should all be put on trial in the Hague for international war crimes and possibly hung. They are no better than Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Pol Pot or any other criminal regime.
