We will never compete with off-shore workers as they work for pennies on the dollar. As long as the government allows companies to off-shore manufacturing, we'll never again realize the American Dream. It has nothing to do with slavery here, but slavery overseas. And the major corporations are so willing and eager to go there. The company I work for laid off 1000+ people to send the jobs to Costa Rica. They'll work for $2 per hour compared to $12 per hour here. We just can't compete with that!
