  • Hey great video, gonna do mine next. This helps me out...great job.

  • Thanks for the video I did it to my 2008 nightster, love the way it looks. If you have any more tips for modifying post the videos. Just to let you know Toxic Choppers has a killer headlight kit for the nightsters I plan on getting it later on. Thanks again for the video:-)

  • Awesome! Glad it could help... That's why I made it. I will be posting "how to change your brakepads in the next week (when I clear some space on my iPhone to edit the video, LOL)

  • thank you for the videos they were very helpful. i just finished relocating my speedo just now with help from your videos

  • haha well i hope you dont go threw a river but i had to take my iron threw 2 foot of water, it was beast, made it threw it without any problems

  • Hey @Koompa63m Thanks for the comment and for watching. Getting the bars off was really easy.

Putting the new ones back on was a little difficult, but you can skip my misery by making sure the left and right controls are put back on before you clamp it back down. If you secure the handlebar to the bike before that, you may not be able to get it left or right far enough to get one on!

Let me know how it goes!

  • Great vid man I just ordered that clamp from autozone today. how was changing the bars out?

  • Sorry for the late reply. The eyebrow does hold the headlight on, but it was easy to take the whole thing off. I didn't look at how it was connected, but I imagine it shouldn't be too difficult. Just keep in mind that you are going to have to come up with another method of mounting the lamp if you want to keep the brow off...

  • Nice video! Is it easy to remove the eyebrow or does it hold the headlight on? Cheers.

  • @jgreco87

It's made by Scotch. By Sunday morning I should have part three of the video up, and in the beginning of part three I actually show the packaging of the tape. It's really common, in the paint section of Home Depot and it's called Indoor/Outdoor Mounting Tape. It's gray, double sided, and covered in red plastic (that you have to peel off to expose one side).

Thanks for watching, please rate if you enjoyed the vid guys

  • I put 32in, drags on my nightster a couple days ago and they are great the best 40.00 I spent. They look good and the ride is great as well.

  • Do you know what the tape is called or the brand of it?

  • There is a double-sided tape that's super hold and heat resistant. I plan on just taping them right where they originally were, in front of the handlebar clamp.

Until I see something better out there. Sorry, wish I had a better answer for you.

  • so where did you end up putting the dummy lights? I ask because I am doing the same mod and I would like to keep those where I can see them and was wondering if you found a good spot and how to mount it.

  • Looking forward to the drag bars - Thanks again
