  • Looks like your suspension is under sprung for your weight and the type of riding you are doing. I also have bone stock suspension, I'm installing heavier straight rate springs and doing a poor man's revalve front and rear (7.5wt fork oil, 10wt suspension fluid). I'll let you know how it goes.

  • @DeeperDarkest I have Intiminators installed in the front and an Eibach harder rear spring (came with another DR so was transferred to this one, I can't remember right now what rate it is) plus I'm considering the poor man's revalve in the rear also. What you can't see in the video is I hit a step there which is why things suddenly compress.

  • Man, that was real pain right there!

  • I thought we were dawdling through there, but the camera makes us look fast...

  • @buggsubique I think the wide angle lens in a confined environment makes it look faster than it really is, though through the first section we were getting along ok, not thrashing it but not dawdling. I slowed down after the river as I had never been past there before.

  • So YOU'RE the reason my ACC premiums are so high! :D

It doesn't take much, does it? I was expecting a big crash, fireballs and screaming and all that. Did you ride out on a broken leg? That would've been ... interesting, to say the least.

    How's the leg feeling now?

    Get well soon man!

  • @peeteey Cheers Peeteey, leg is plastered up. Is feeling achy but relatively ok.
