Hahaha. I was also very afraid of this level (As well as the piranha plant one) when I was kid. Ironically, as I got older, I actually started to like the idea of being eaten alive whole. =\

maybe you've heard this question many times already, but how do you get yoshi's story to work on Pj 64? The game has a lot of grapic problems with me, the screen jumps back and forth. It's like watching a lamp that goes on and off 40 times a second. Within a minute my eyes hurt like hell. How did you remove that problem? Because I am not the only one with this problem.

Four differences...

-Like the Black Yoshi, White Yoshis can eat things that the other Yoshis wouldn't like. This includes red peppers and Black Shy Guys.

-White Yoshis can fire eggs that explode when their happy meter is full.

-White Yoshis can flutter further when they're a Super Happy Yoshi.

-While the Black Yoshi has the lowest pitched voice, White Yoshi has the highest pitched voice.

Info from Super Mario Wiki. Black Yoshis can also do the exact same things.

for me jungle puddle's fine, but there's another one, i think 4-3. that i hate. it's got pirhana plants that make you small and stuff. jungle sucks. leave it at that.

Also, I just had a horrible thought about your coinless Galaxy LP (which I'm somewhat sure you've thought of before). If Galaxy had the same stupid system as Sunshine does when it comes to coins (saving your score once you get one), you're going to have to restart your game everytime you collect a coin, assuming you want a perfect record. It's not like you can take out the Wii's NAND flash memory while you're playing like you could with the....

Oh, so you can get any fruit, you're just choosing to get all the melons, and nothing else. Any reason for choosing melons...?

getting all melons is an already established challenge in the game. If you eat six in a row, you get the super happy heart fruit thing, the melons are considered separate on the score sheet, and there's exactly 30 per level.

But yes I do like them melons. I'd like to think I'm above such sort of jokes in the actual recording, but I'll probably mention it at some point or another.

two things one is before the more dificult sections of the level you could save with the emulator just to keep you from having to redo it. second if you think about it why would they be getting happier each time you beat a level i mean really they are just failing in there quest they should be sad not happy

Technically, the Wii Virtual Console is an emulator, and is does savestate every time you go to the Wii Menu (at least for older systems. I'm pretty sure it doesn't do it for the N64).

The flowers in Yoshi's Island gave you chances at playing a minigame at the end of the level. The hearts in Yoshi's Story unlock more levels for the next world. (by default each world only has one level, and you get one more for each heart you collect).

The freaking huge Cheep Cheeps...Blurps, whatever, leaping out of the water eating you always scared me worse than freaking "It" in Resident Evil 4.

I also suffered the nervous whimpering, near-psychotic reluctant chuckling, and "eeeee"ing while running from psycho Yoshi/Mario-eating fish. And the joyous, relieved mega sigh once the trial was over.
