The time he lived in was when it was against church/state law to own a bible. People sealed their testimony with there blood and yet no behavior such as this was seen. The bible tells us to have "order" and be "sober". my own salvation exp. was one of repentance, tears and exceptance. The bible and the knowledge thereof is our safegaurd! thank you

Thank you for your response. I take exception to the description of drunken behavior to describe my receiving grace and freedom from bondage, wich is forgiveness of sin. I will give you one gleaming example that of Martin Luther a man tortured in his soul over sin, discover in the bible rightousness by faith and Justification. He used to whip himself, fast and confess over and over, til he found freedom from bondage. And yet his salvation wich had world wide reprecussions had no drunkeness.

@barthumphrey Partially correct. Paul spoke of a heavenly language, "glossolalia" (speaking an unknown, angelic language 1. Corinthians 13 & 14 that cannot be understood by humans except those who have the gift of interpretation of tongues 1 Corinthians 12 when it is shared in church). This includes the earthly language you spoke of, "xenolalia" (Acts 2) different from from one's native tongue. Purpose? Paul used his heavenly language (glossolalia) also... continued...

Thanks for this video - never laughed so much. What Rodney and Benny does has nothing to do with Hindu however, but Jesus. There is nothing wrong with the joy of the Lord and laughing - this is the Holy Spirit. Some Christians (usually old fashioned types) don't understand how the Holy Spirit works.

When in fact, God is wonderful - his love is so strong it knocks you off your feet, His joy so great you laugh like you've never laughed before. God is fantastic - Jesus gained such a victory for us - but few Christians grasp this, they grieve the Holy Spirit and criticise those who do get it.

Thats not scriptural. What is really a disgrace to God (and a sin) is grieving the Holy Spirit and not letting Him take control - as on the day of pentecost. And there was nothing orderly about the day of pentecost - they were acting drunk, just like these true believers in the video.

They might have seemed drunk to some people because they did not understand what they were saying because they were speaking in different languages of the world.

However, there were people that understood what they were saying and that was a blessing to them.

The onlookers thought they were drunk. And how do YOU know they weren't acting 'ridiculous' - were you there? We know for sure they were acting DRUNK. And we know from experience that the Holy Spirit can make you feel drunk, but that depends on the type of church you go to - some christians don't like the 'heavy' presence of the Holy Spirit. The word 'Glory' in the bible means: 'God's heavy presence'

The whole point with the Pentecostal, was that it was unexplainable, not some people affecting others. Maybe it happened like a lightning strike on the whole crowd.
