The time he lived in was when it was against church/state law to own a bible. People sealed their testimony with there blood and yet no behavior such as this was seen. The bible tells us to have "order" and be "sober". my own salvation exp. was one of repentance, tears and exceptance. The bible and the knowledge thereof is our safegaurd! thank you
Thank you for your response. I take exception to the description of drunken behavior to describe my receiving grace and freedom from bondage, wich is forgiveness of sin. I will give you one gleaming example that of Martin Luther a man tortured in his soul over sin, discover in the bible rightousness by faith and Justification. He used to whip himself, fast and confess over and over, til he found freedom from bondage. And yet his salvation wich had world wide reprecussions had no drunkeness.
@topfifth99 Hello again! Blessings to you. Please reflect on your own behavior before you judge others (i.e., I quote, "bastards"). The judgmental heart is spoken of in Matthew 23. By the way, take note... this was the only time Jesus was harsh toward anyone. He was kind to those who fell into weakness.
@bmeanjustbcauz Hello brother/sister. Blessing to you. I have no problem with sharing your discernment with us but are you sure you are not detecting the difference between grace and legalism? Just wondering. I am sure Jesus turned the stomach of the religious leaders who crucified Him, too. Jesus walked in freedom and love. That is what I see going on here, but that is just me. Please share your thoughts.
Sorry friend it does not say they were rolling around on the streets? It does say they were speaking other tounges! Meaning they could speak the gospel to someone of another language, can the people who claim the gift of tounges preach the good news of salvation thru Christ alone to a Russian speaking man or French? If not what is the gift for? This is a perversion of bible truth!
@barthumphrey Partially correct. Paul spoke of a heavenly language, "glossolalia" (speaking an unknown, angelic language 1. Corinthians 13 & 14 that cannot be understood by humans except those who have the gift of interpretation of tongues 1 Corinthians 12 when it is shared in church). This includes the earthly language you spoke of, "xenolalia" (Acts 2) different from from one's native tongue. Purpose? Paul used his heavenly language (glossolalia) also... continued...
@barthumphrey Part 2 - Glossolalia (unknown, angelic tongue) also manifests in the church as a form of prophecy under the unction of the Holy Spirit. Finally, regarding the rolling around on the floor... Have you ever thought someone speaking another language appeared drunk? No. That is not logical. The description of drunkeness in Acts 2 depicts what is universally recognized as drunken behavior: Silliness, falling down, rolling around, etc... Purpose? Grace, freedom from bondage.

Jesus never laugh while preaching. This never came from Jesus ,this is ckearly from Satan. Poor ignorant christians who do not read the bible, you are just being treated as a lunatic.
@Frettchen612 Read Acts before you judge brother, the religious people in jerusalem thought the 120 people the holy spirit fell on were drunk. Because they were rolling around in the streets praising God in other tongues, Peter preached to them what it was, and 3000 more were filled with the spirit that day
@Frettchen612 Be careful who you say is the ignorant one, my brother/sister. Just because they don't mention people going to the bathroom or eating oranges, does that mean toilets or citrus fruit are from Satan, too? God's blessings and grace to you.
Benny Hinn is not a false prophet but demons are imitating God through Hindu derivative kundulini. I don't know much about Rodney Howard Brown. You have to really be careful these days because the Devil is duplicating God. If he can't get you through drugs he'll use real believable spirits that if it were possible even the elect would be deceived.
So sad that this exhibition of emotionalism gives Christianity such a bad name. This is just experiential religion. When an un-believer sees this does it draw them near to God? Does it teach them anything about salvation, repentance, sin?
There are no scriptures where Jesus or the Apostles commanded Christians to start laughing.
what a show!!.We Know Benny is a showman.........he loves the stage..but he doesnt love the TRUTH..he operates in DECEIT and LIES.....When Benny touched Rodney he went down life WWF!!...I lOVE JESUS..but come on!!..Where is the DISCERNMENT?!!
Thanks for this video - never laughed so much. What Rodney and Benny does has nothing to do with Hindu however, but Jesus. There is nothing wrong with the joy of the Lord and laughing - this is the Holy Spirit. Some Christians (usually old fashioned types) don't understand how the Holy Spirit works.
@guitarman459 The reason people end up following false religions is because the true church (esp. in the west) is so awful. They give God such a bad image. When in fact, God is wonderful - his love is so strong it knocks you off your feet, His joy so great you laugh like you've never laughed before. God is fantastic - Jesus gained such a victory for us - but few Christians grasp this, they grieve the Holy Spirit and criticise those who do get it.
How ridiculous is to pretend that God would support or promote this kind of non-sense.
No word of edification, nor exhortation, it really does a disgrace to Christianity.
33 for God is not a God of confusion, but of peace. As in all the churches of the saints, 39 Wherefore, my brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues. 40 But let all things be done decently and in order.
@JulienMr777 This is a disgrace to Christianity? Where is 'Christianity' in the bible?
Thats not scriptural. What is really a disgrace to God (and a sin) is grieving the Holy Spirit and not letting Him take control - as on the day of pentecost. And there was nothing orderly about the day of pentecost - they were acting drunk, just like these true believers in the video.
They might have seemed drunk to some people because they did not understand what they were saying because they were speaking in different languages of the world.
However, there were people that understood what they were saying and that was a blessing to them.
This had nothing to do with laughing like crazy and acting ridiculous. The spirit of the prophets is subject to the prophets and the real prophets are subject to God Jesus.
@JulienMr777 What a 'watered down' interpretation of scripture? Where did you get that from?
The onlookers thought they were drunk. And how do YOU know they weren't acting 'ridiculous' - were you there? We know for sure they were acting DRUNK. And we know from experience that the Holy Spirit can make you feel drunk, but that depends on the type of church you go to - some christians don't like the 'heavy' presence of the Holy Spirit. The word 'Glory' in the bible means: 'God's heavy presence'
@aioee I believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit, the bible says: 27If anyone speaks in a tongue, it should be by two or at the most three, and each in turn, and one must interpret; 28 if there is no interpreter, he must keep silent in the church; 29 Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others pass judgment.
30 But if a revelation is made to another who is seated, the first one must keep silent. 31 all prophesy one by one, 40 But all things must be done properly and in an orderly manner.
@aioee Do you think Peter and the others went around yelling, affecting, tripping, dancing and acting ridiculous like this? The whole point with the Pentecostal, was that it was unexplainable, not some people affecting others. Maybe it happened like a lightning strike on the whole crowd. (If I am not deluded, this is somewhat like the Bible actually says about the Pentecostal).
@inthebeginnings Interesting comment. But really, you have got it back to front. Jesus died on the cross - but have you forgotten that he was raised back to life. He was victorious. He's won! You are allowed to at least smile you know. Jesus wants you to - he's wonderful.
