The areas with higher crime rates have to do with the economical status of the area more than race.Irish were considered "minorities" under 100 years ago and they weren't "black or brown". It was their economical status that made them more inclined to commit crimes,not their race.

No one is saying that black and brown people are bad, but as you admit, the crime is in areas were poor, mostly minorities reside. Inner cities are the worst..I know, I worked them for years. The failure of parents to bring up their kids with a mindset of honesty and work ethic is alarge contributor to problem. For blacks, the hip-hop culture and thug life and kids our of wed lock is the other problem. Illegals who come here are breaking the law and we tolerate it. Gangs and welfare support are also a problem. Many illegals are hard workers, but are still illegal.

They can say what they want, but having 2 parents who are dedicated to raising and educating their kids is essential for this country to prosper. I still believe that it has to do with poverty not a "certain group of people". The fact that he's American is significant because it nullifies your original statement. People have every right to be proud of their heritage, and until America develops some culture of substance (i.e. not Budweiser, fast food joints, or baseball) people who come from rich cultures are always going to identify with them. Just because you were raised in one country, doesn't mean you should disregard your history in another. First of all, I'd like to point out I never said all Hispanics/Latinos look alike. I am part Mexican (mestizo), part Peruvian and part Italian. My skin is fair, my eyes hazel, and my hair light. My brother is olive skinned with dark hair and dark eyes, yet we are both (mostly) Latino. You shouldn't even be attempting to play the race card with me or anyone, considering your "bean bush" and cockroach comments.

Secondly, I find it really funny that you say Hispanics are not a race, but in the next breath identify an entire group of people as Hispanic. Bit hypocritical, or at the very least contradictory. Which leads me to my final point. The term race only refers to groups of people with certain common traits. It bunches people together based on common language, customs, color, ancestry, geography, etc.

It's not racist to call someone who is of Ethiopian descent Black or African, just like it's not racist to call someone who is of Japanese descent Asian so long as it's not something you hold against them. It's just a way to identify large groups of people with certain commonalities; color, physical features and language being among those commonalities. It doesn't mean they're all the same. For instance, you can't say all Black people are from Ethiopia, or all Asians from Japan.
