2.) Makes it easier to draw out of sheath or pocket

3.) Gives you a little more to grip on very small knives

Thanks for your comments. I use zip ties to hold the paracord together. I don't make them super tight, just tight enough to keep the paracord from slipping out.

i recomend to use the rattle snake tail not. its easy to unravel if u really were to get in a situation, u can unravel a tail4 inches long and get aroundclose to 4 feet.... in about 2 mins. and its in once piece.

i have the knife with the wooden handle, and mine came with a type of lanyard. it was leather string with aknot at the end, just loop kind of. but i think ill put a better lanyard on it.

The issue I've had with Leatherman's quick attach lanyard is that- for the most part- if I have a lanyard on something it's because I want to be able to grab it easily. For example, if I toss my Leatherman Charge into my hiking pack and want to pull it out quickly... What happens? My lanyard ring pops out and I find myself holding a lanyard that is no longer connected to my multi-tool. Just a thought

Very nice, they came out great Duane! I hope to get some of the tether cord from countycomm soon, its smaller in diameter than the 550 so people can put lanyards on their knives with small lanyard holes, some peopel have trouble getting 550 cord through their knives...
