I was wondering how would the formula change is you need to do a Stem & Leaf Chart using numbers with decimals?, I thought as much as the COUNTIF cond is pretty much the only change but I cant figure it out
Some people like them because they are sort of like a Frequency Distribution (see shape of data) and they are sort of like a dot plot (individual items stacked on top of each other) and it has all the detail (unlike FD and DP).
but what if the number get pretty large? let's say we are dealing numbers such as 1800, 2109, 2025, and i would want to put my stem as 18, 20 and 21, wouldn't it be crazy if I derive the fomula for the leaf from 00 all the way to 99?? is there any other way I can do the stem and leaf plot?
i typed i the formula exactly and it did not go through for me :(

No, it is just the ouch way. You really have to be tricky with excel sometimes to get it to do what you wnat.
