  • DAMN IT I like this song...I hate myself right now!

  • 2 eggs ham or sausage?

  • ill moon ya

  • Yes, as a matter of fact.. I do dig that crazy beat. Thanks for asking!

  • Hey like wow, daddy-o! Who's the crazy cat with the mouse. He's so out he aint never been in. Dig that crazy beat, man.

  • "Real Beatniks don't wear sensible windbreakers."

  • The real beatnick was "Kooky Ed Burns" on "77 Sunset Strip" - TV show from the late 50's

  • I'm guessing Eddie gets the gig at 'the Hilltop', or maybe a date with the old guy.

  • Looks like he's really having a ball with a crazy chick, especially that guy on the phone.

  • OK, so Eddie here doesn't have sideburns, that doesn't look like a' leather coat ' (jacket, surely) and he sure don't have 'duck-billed hair' so no 'sympathy' from me.is he 'playing it cool, real slick' or is he just a twat?

  • "A dish of ice cream!? Don't tempt me!"

    Oh, MST3K... XD

  • Shut up, Iris.

  • OMG! All my dad's high school buddies became beatniks and other (may I say) counterculture types of the 1950s and 1960s. I dig that crazy jazz, man, and the whole beatnik thing, you dig? Had I been born in the 1930s and early 1940s, I would have been a beatnik myself - just something about it that I like.

  • I always sing songs from this movie to the ladies.

  • I can't watch this without the MST's quips....

    1:00-"...having a ball with a crazy chick"

     (Crow-"Who? Francis Farmer?")

  • THIS MADE ME LOL. "Leather coat.."

  • i have sideburns

    i love this song!

  • "Leather coat...."

    pure beatnik. 8)

  • Leather coat...

    ...Dish of ice cream.

  • Nothing quite says Beatnik bad boy like the big-band swing sound that an old guy on a telephone wants to tap along to.

  • LOLOL Yes! And ironically in the song he's saying that people are trying to get him to "slow down" while he's singing what seems to be the slowest song in the history of popular music.

  • :-). Kind of a crooning beatnik.

  • Yeah......like the cops at the Monterray back in the sixties who dared to have a good time.

  • fuck you viacom!

  • What I don't get is why Tony Travis sings "duck billed hair" instead of duck tailed hair. Square baby, real square!

  • Shut up, Iris.

  • imagine a time when society's outlaws were white and well groomed

    ahhhhm the 1950s

  • side burns don't need your sympathy? What?

  • "Sideburns" is probably the nickname of this wild & woolly renegade.

  • Was that the "Ghost Host" Paul Frees??

  • Kind of bizarre since neither of them looked like Beatniks? Wonder if he still gets teased about this scene? This is about as B as a film could get! Funny still its American pop culture! Hee hee

  • Tony Travis is Gord.

  • One the most important songs of the 20th Century

  • HOLLYWOOD SACRILIDGE---i will now kill myself.....but the lyric was cool.

  • That's really swingin daddyo.

  • Sideburns don't need your sympathy!!!

  • Beatnik music is really square...

  • These B-movies from the 1950s crack me up.

  • Don't cry for me

    Crow: Argentina!

  • Dish of ice cream, man. Dish of ice cream.

  • @timboytx a big dish of peas.
