  • er do u know what is board? wooden board just lay them on the floor and..........

  • Drop a bomb on it...... Solved..

  • With this.. you'll also lose your element of surprise..

  • "You will lose the element of suprise..."

    -facepalm-

the thing makes a massive boom, nice suprise x-x

  • Well what is the point of using this over cutters anyways, BAM, there goes the stealth approach.

  • \YYYEEAAAHHH KILLING STUFF WITH STUFF YEAHH.

HUUURRHHH DDEERRRR CANT WAIT TO SEE MORE POINTLESS WEAPONS DESIGNED TO KILL PPL. only children and men with small cocks must make the views to this bull shit

  • @MrDEADCELL1

The point of this is not to kill people, just to clear the wire fencing.

  • @MrDEADCELL1 The thing isnt meant for killing.

Its for ripping barb wire apart.

  • @MrDEADCELL1 So which of those are you?

  • @MrDEADCELL1 i don't like war but i find physics and inventions interesting

  • walk around it you lazy prick. It's like 10 metres of fence...

  • lol use an improvised bangalore takes out 30 meters of wire w/ 1 of em

  • im an engineer this is wat i do i blow the tsc (triple standard constintina) n its not meant to cut you up thts razor wire this just grabs on to clothing n holds on so the more u struggle the harder it is to get out but i use a Bangalore to blow the c wire out away from a funnel u put it at a 45 degree angle on the inside of the pickett so it blows the wire out n away from u funnel n thts wat engineers do thts y we lead the way

  • @aprilfool6 or you could use a blanket....

  • Isn't Bangalore a city in India.. :O :O

  • @smplisri yup the indian center of technology and medicine. it rocks.

  • ya C4 or plastic explosive will destroy pretty much any thing... in or out a tube....

  • Comment removed

  • You rock uncle Chris!

  • just drive a tank over it.

  • @MrSpy3000 you cant keep a tank quiet it has a jet engine in it.

  • @beastlyness19 but it can still drive over some fences

  • this isnt call of duty so stop arguing you guys can get over it without a problem lol

  • Each time I hear the word bangalore I think of Saving Private Ryan... and banging :)

  • Well it wouldn't come as a suprise now that the video is on youtube and your enemies may already have seen it...

  • Bring a tank.

  • I really like this show, but I just wish he didn't feel the need to whisper so dramatically. I feel like I'm being talked down to, like a child. It's annoying.

  • i wish i had a garbage bag of plastic explosives just sitting around

  • Just put a thick blanket over it (AKA sleeping bag) -________-

  • @jackbonjour AKA my size condom

  • LOL THIS IS PLAIN DUMB!

Yeah great idea, you're in the enemy's line of fire and you're going to use explosives to tell them exactly where you're crossing the wire fence.... wow... you're all brains. They sure make them smart in the US.

  • @curiosityuniversal Your dumb or you don't compensate when someone tells you British company

  • @DrewEmc2 You're an idiot. I'm not complaining about the manufacturer but the moronic spokesperson and the "military" moron that's agreeing with him about using explosives as a good idea for breaking through the wire. The manufacturer just needs to find idiots dumb enough to buy their product, just like that other "invention" you morons fell for... the "pet rock" LOL. Enough Said.

  • @curiosityuniversal I would LOVE to hear where your from, sir. Please, tell me. Amuse me by trying to say how good your country is. :)

  • @M3nt0s619 I don't have loyalties or allegiance to any country. That aside, I can't see how anyone with any forethought could possibly agree with the two idiots in this video. No there will be no shock, and no there will be no awe. The moment that thing goes off and cuts through the fence will be the instant that group of soldiers gets shredded by artillery fire, or whatever else their opponents have waiting for them. Sorry but real life doesn't work quite as well as hollywood movies.

  • @curiosityuniversal Maybe the Military had already cleared out the enemy Bunker and was setting out to move already? I'm pretty sure that the U.S or any other Country using this piece of equipment would have the common sence to scout the area out before going out and cutting/blowing through the wire, even if they were to just be brutes and blow through that, the smoke cloud from that explosion would blow up dust, allowing the soldiers to get up and move their arses out of there into cover.

  • @M3nt0s619 I see your point there but even if they managed to find cover, the enemy knows exactly where they're crossing... all they need to do is direct their machine gun fire at the blast area and I can guarantee anyone there will be shredded to bits. Also, those fences are usually placed in direct line of sight so finding cover won't be easy.

  • @curiosityuniversal Well, the most logical thing to do in a Jungle terain area would be to just walk around it, but in an Urban Area, it shouldn't be that hard to find a good spot to take cover in, I mean, if the Town is war-torn, then there should be Holes in the buildings, allowing the soldiers to walk right in there at the first sight of enemy fire.

  • @M3nt0s619 Yeah your right in both cases. I was thinking more in terms of some sort of Fort surrounded by the wire with guard towers overlooking a flat ground. That would be suicide, but in a war zone or active battle field in a city or something with buildings to hide behind and away from direct line of fire you could use anything to get rid of the obstruction.

  • @curiosityuniversal Yeah. Well, this has been a very good Conversation. :D

  • you just use stick and push that...

  • I love it when things go BOOM!

  • now put this on the mexico american border already.

  • oh yehh, that boom totally did not make u lose ur "element of suprise" yeh? and its toally cool running around in a spec op mission with a huge stick

  • @Axekura

The whole point is that it's what you can use when they know you're there and stealth isn't an issue. Otherwise you'd be sitting there spending ages with the bolt cutter while under fire.

  • "i take my first step in..and," *BOOOOM* steps on an IED

  • why didnt they show the old type's effect on the new blade to have a comparison...

also, u really have to hide 100meters away in a bunker? how would you use it in realaty??? :Din special ops, slow mo against super patient enemies

  • My mom has the G-Zone commando that was in the commericial before this video... She dropped it in water and it broke...

  • When is America going to fight a conventional army which uses this kind of fortifications, Iran...?

  • pish we make a real bangalore would use this one in down town glasgow lol

  • And there goes element of suprise.

  • Remind me how this is different from a tube with explosives ?

  • @001720BC Did you have the video on mute or something?

  • @EmptyCarPark shaped charges blablablablabla where do you think the metal from the bangalore goes when you blow it up ? So they change the form of the tube ? Wooooooowwww

  • @001720BC hernngggg HERRRNNNNGG

  • @dgabbless Idiot.

  • Take one step in and it's free and clear...take another step landmine!

  • 'Perfect for special operations'

I hope he doesn't mean anything stealthy - it IS four feet of inflexible, explosive-packed metal.

  • @Suzamibachi

So are rocket launchers, but special forces often carry those too.

  • Sticks with explosives in it are known since WW 1

  • Yah!!! i live in Bangalore

ha ha look who's laughing now

by the way Bangalore is in India

  • @annnnnnnnnnnnas Pics or didn't happen

  • yah i live in bangalore

  • Really woulda been more stealthy to snip the wire with a cutter ...

  • I would dig under it, far more surprise, they need a silent worm, digger type machine which can tunnel fast silent past enemy stuff

  • that stuff act's like a sring anyways when cut it rolls itself back up or pulls apart leaves a big hole in the wire, remember its spring still it spring back to install this stuff you must pull it hard to string it acrose a area, one cut on each wire and you have a big hole with out the enamy knowing your there,

  • I think that's like saying we are coming this way! Through this small space here which makes us an easy target!! Right here!!!!!

  • ლ(ಠ益ಠლ) u no explode bag of c4!

  • Drop a door on it.

  • @BraniusBalki Yea cuz infantry will be caring doors with them on the battlefield.

  • @BraniusBalki Like you can bring a door in combat >_>

  • @BraniusBalki you're right, but how could you get a door in the battlefield. Get a tree like VPA usually do :|

  • You can either cut through the wires or spend the time to set up a bangalore and walk a mile away to detonate it...

  • they do the wrong things.... they should use that bangalore....while they are besides of it..because in actual WAR...you should put the besides of you why hiding the enemy

  • why is it called BANGALORE ?? im from bangalore nd im pretty sure we dont make them here

  • spc opp?!

but if u want to be silence?

    this is BOOM.. >.>

  • The white people invent tanks, white people sell tanks to the chinese. White people invent rpg and landmines, white people blow up chinese tanks. white people invent concertina wire, white people sell concertina wire to the chinese. white people invent bangalore blade, white people blow up chinese concertina wire.

  • Only EFFECTIVE way of using this would be to deploy small team to put the explosive in place, and detonate it just before main assault to create holes in the defense line

OFC tank takes care of all barbed wire, but the problem is that pretty often there are AT mines or other anti-tank countermeasures to prevent that.

But then again, don't worry ma'am, i'm from internets.

  • @Warhamer116 watch saving private ryan thats a good cenario for the use of bangalores.

  • he said stealth mission in what way is this stealthy

  • probably takes more time to set this up and retreat to a bunker than it does to cut through the damn wire

  • the best part is.....theyre gonna let me press the button

  • This is one of the reasons the tank was invented.... just roll over the dam wire....

  • whats the point if you have to run far away then run all the way back by that time the enemy would have the place covered

  • OMG the military officialy turned stupid XD blow up the wire , why not just CUT thru them or like iamspysaid XDXDXD throw a rug over it > . >

  • use a lightsaber

  • alright everyone, calm down. no one is saying this is a solution to all barbed wire situations. it will serve in some, though. and it works very well for those.

  • 1:38, what they came up with....a large dildo

  • You can step on that shit at the joints and just jump over it if you aren't retarded.

    Harder in the dark...

  • "you can use wire cutters"

me: or call in an airstrike :)

  • "OMG the enemy blew up the wire! whatever shall we do?.."

    *opens fire*

    *lawls*

  • what kind of explosive it was

  • if you watch 3:10 pause at 3:23

    then watch 3:46

definitely, the bangalore blade is the "real" stealth approach, hell it beats wire cutters in the middle of the night any day!"

    joke.

  • I guess a rug wouldn't blow up any landmines :p.

I remember watching some doc about WWII when the Japanese would actually get one person to jump onto the wire (and die), and get everyone else to step over him to create a bridge

  • this keeps going back and forth they make a new wire and then theyll make a new explosive when will the ccle end when it turns into nukes?

  • @IamSpydaMic Sure, but who's going to be carrying a disposable rug all over the battlefield? That little pole looks a lot more convenient.

  • @Lirsumis They probably are easier to transport, but imagine walking up to the wire, placing the tube, retreating while running wires, blowing it and then sprinting for the hole, all without being noticed. As opposed to run up, throw the rug, clamber over and you're in. Of course it would need to be some space age carbon dragon skin super lightweight affair, not your nan's persian ha ha. So not seriously saying a rug, but my point is there's probably something better to be invented these days.

  • @IamSpydaMic

4 guys can simply throw a piece of cement and use it to cross :D

  • who else thought he was going to cut through the wire?

  • next time try NUKING it

  • With that type of boom i bet the guys that wants to go over also gets either cut or killed by the small steel parts

  • Just drive a tank over it! Your In!

  • @1thatisilluminated Maybe soldiers would want a stealthier entrance. Just maybe

  • @1thatisilluminated you cant drive a tank over it cause then the wile would get cought in the wheels and then you have no tank good job

  • @1thatisilluminated

I think this is for when they are operating behind enemy lines.

  • @1thatisilluminated there might not be enough space sometimes to drive a tank in there but yeah thats also what i was wondering

  • come on!!! this stuff was used in WW1 trenches aren't even used in war, it's not like we're going tostop 1000 people on one side vs 1000 people on the other side... what matters if we get an entrance 5 m large when it's still 1000 people trying to shoot at you?

  • well... the problem is that you need time to set this up when attacking + when defending you don't know if/where they come from, and people often attack via aircraft or use water or air to transport troops

  • Glad they spend our money on this instead of curing diseases.

  • The barbed wire is a very old invention and hasn't been modernized. A loud plastic explosive pipe vs. silent wire cutters? Keep it simple people.

  • uhm.. u can drive threw it!

  • @MrCbike say goodbye to your tires

  • @MrCbike You don't allways have the luxury of a vehicle...

  • @ThEP1r4tE But you always cary your explosive tube with you anytime...

  • @ThEP1r4tE true.

  • LoL im part of a breaching platoon too I carry one of these boys with an M203 :)

    Those wires really suck

  • Comment removed

  • "We're gonna count on them to be shocked into taking absolutely no action as we come through that wire." Sounds like a hell of a strategy.

  • @RonaldMcDickFace The real tactic is to breach the wire in multiple locations so the defender has his work cut out for him.

  • yea, explosions are the best way to sneak in...

  • rug is bad.... in a pussy way, and by pussy i mean vagina, and by vagina, i mean something i cant get any of

  • rug is bad.... in a pussy way, and by pussy i mean vagina, and by vagina, i mean something i cant get any of

  • In your best Michael Caine impression... 'You were only supposed to blow the bloody barbs off!!'

  • @SKRIBBLE4ME There's always some useless bugger that forgets to bring the rug.

  • This stuff is a big, barbed spring. Explosives will make it bounce up -- and return. Shaped charges will chop it in the middle. Once broken, it can be pulled out of the way. The shaped charges also blow the mines underneath the wire.

  • at 2:10, he is smuggling dope xD

  • Just drive a tank over it.

  • I dont think this will ever be used in the field.

Like most weapons we see on "Future weapons", these places need massive contracts with armies.

My dad used to be assistant head of buying at the MoD. And was pitched to, and went to hundreds of factories to see things like this. That said, i dont think it will be used, i dont care if they prove me wrong.

And whos to say they couldn't use 2 of these? Extra surprise, as they run to the bang, with their moustaches and berets flailing about.

  • I love it when things go boom...especially when they are in my ass

  • a more simple solution is to use your comrade's dead body

  • let the british keep this one

  • what happens if the enemy comes up behind you and the only way out is through the wire?

  • cont go true it or over it then go under it ?

  • Discovery can you reply to my comment?

  • "..love when things go boom" lol what brick.

  • Enemy can just go around. you are soo dumb xD

  • @crazyguys007

what happens if the barbed wire was encircling the base that the enemy wants to destroy

  • One thing that they're not mentioning is that the tip is launched like a first strike. Point that round in the right spot and you have your first kill. (or at least more confusion.)

  • you will lose the surprise attack if you take your time to cut it actually doenst make any sounds, but if you detonated a bomb wuuaaalaaa surprise attack and nobody know what hit them.

  • you will lose the surprise attack if you take your time to cut it actually doenst make any sounds, but if you detonated a bomb wuuaaalaaa surprise attack and nobody know what hit them.

  • Looks like standard 1.25" square tube with the corners milled down to allow them to seperate easily formig the shaped charge.

  • I wonder what would happen if you blew that up in someones ass.

Don't look at me like that, I want to know.

  • HONESTLY THEY DID A GOOD JOB ON HE FIREPOWER NO DOUBT IT CAN EASILY BLAST THROUGH THE FENCE BUT I HAVE TO AGREE THAT THE LOUD BOOM IS LIKE YELLING THROUGH A MEGAPHONE HEY GUYS WERE COMING IN TO INVADE SO MAYBE IF IT WOULD HAVE CONTAINED LIKE SOME SORT OF METAL EATING ACID IT WOULD OF BEEN ALOT QUITER IDK

  • @THECONDOR98 acid isnt the solution to everything its hard to get acid on each of the small blades and keep it on and acid takes quite a while to burn through unlike in movies and games over all this is a more affective way if you were to spend all that time burning through you would have a bullet through you're head before its done

  • Seems like an over engineered solution to a simple problem. Won't that explosion call just about every alert soldier in the area right to that spot?

  • @koolaidman007 But the wire is gone. So problem solved. Who cares if that makes up another problem? That is someone else problem.

  • lol like u don't hear that

  • Mac talks like such a douchebag

  • So.... We can't go around it?

  • i would parachute in front of it after the airfoce had flttened them first

  • trust me it makes sence only because your scene standign there cutting it. with an explosion you can blast it and go guns a blazing. they have no idea the exploision is coming. its not like they are trying to sneak around. they are just trying to breach it withough lossing men.

  • clear the shingles

  • The enemy won't know what to do? My best guess is shoot at the exposed area that just blew up. This won't work.

  • @callawayHXtour well, its an upgrade to the original bangalore, not necessarily an improvement, but a upgrade nevertheless.

  • @callawayHXtour tell that to the seaborne infantry that breached the beaches on operation overlord with the predecessor to this weapon

  • @callawayHXtour Not really...if you pay attention to what he says at the ending, something like "when the full attack is launched..." could probably mean that there won´t be just one bangalore blade in those wires but many of them, so they can go through one of the areas while the enemy attacks another one that is completely empty of soldiers...just my thought.

  • @Warxoth Yes, very good point, I didn't think of that.

  • @callawayHXtour Of course the OPFOR will know what to do, but remember, if your attacking from an area they don't anticipate, then it will take them a while to bring crew served weapons to bear. By the time they've done that, your soldiers should have sensibly sought a defilade position.

Thus, all you really have to fear after you rush through the barbed wire is uncoordinated small arms fire. Bangalore torpedoes worked well in their field of employment, and so will this replacement.

  • @callawayHXtour Well it just worked didnt itÉ I guess the real question is how much does it cost compared to a normal bangalord or whatever its called lol.

  • @callawayHXtour just like WW2

  • really? wire cutters in the cover of night loses the element of surprise, but a bladed explosive is stealthy??? come on!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Throwing a rug over it works too. Slightly less OTT too.

  • @IamSpydaMic but a rug won't go boom ;)

  • @norwegianandy94 There is that... and soldiers do so like things that go boom.

  • @IamSpydaMic Nice but they've probably tried a rug already. And I'm guessing it didn't work. They had World War1 and 2 to figure it out.

  • @serpentphoenix Yeah, because I was seriously suggesting that the entire Army pop round to Ikea for a shagpile. But hey, it works for the little bastards on the local council estate.

  • @IamSpydaMic So special forces just needs to carry a few rugs around with them?

  • @DirtyFriction That's the plan. Or just one really big one.

  • cant they just pry the poles outta the ground??????

  • @THEMUFFINMANO1 No, the wire would cut them up cuz the wire's are usually wrapped around the poles too

  • @LeeProductions23 but what if they have like really big plier stuff that goes out really far and it can grab it and pull it out plus it would be more stealther cuz they dont make anynoise

  • @THEMUFFINMANO1 yeah but again they didn't say they wanted to be stealthy, they wanted an element of surprise. What would surprise you more? A sudden explosion no one saw coming, or someone walking through the cut wire?
