Im planning on trying this since benzoyl peroxide works good on my skin , currently I'm using tea tree but it's ok . I have bad moderate acne :/ and I hate how I look now that it's taken over my life, when before I could cover up my acne and not many would notice now my face is all bumpy and scarred . I bought the cleanser but I'm planning to but the benzoyl peroxide very soon , I just want to test out the cleanser if I'm not allergic , thanks for this review !:)

@Puella992 You need to go in with very little and only at night. BP is very potent so starting off slowly is so so so important. I don't know how much I can emphasize this. My skin also became very red and irritated. You need to fight through it. It's worth it in the end. Also, if your skin becomes OVERLY irritated, it's okay to skip a day in between sometimes. Just fight through! And get a better moisturizer if you need to!
how do take your makeup off when you are going to use the cleanser from the system if you can only wash your face for 10 seconds? it usually takes me about washes to get my skin clean
@SamanthaAisha17 I have a separate video on my nightly routine. I don't use just these products. I take my makeup off with actual makeup remover and such. You can search for the video on my channel!
I just placed my order! My acne has spread all over my face but mostly they are under the skin bumps, tiny little bumps under my skin on my forehead, so I hope this helps. I do have hyperpigmentation on both sides of my cheeks, does this product help at all?
@tamarajay91 No, BP will not help with hyperpigmentation. Only products with hydroquinone can aid with hyperpigmentation, but even that is not efficient. Honestly, time heals a lot. I have a separate video about this!
@tamarajay91 I'm certainly not an expert but I have some personal experience with hyperpigmentation - what helps me is a niacinamide serum mixed with vitamin C powder for pigmentation, applied on top of a glycolic acid serum/product :) however I wouldn't use this while treating your acne, only after! Just some info for when you can focus on treating pigmentation. Oh and sunscreen every day or the pigmentation will last longer!
@yourugly58 I'm not picky about my SPF so I don't know if I'm a good resource for this question. I've used Shiseido's and currently am using one from Neutrogena for the face.

um, so is it okay if you don't use the acne.org products right? I use exposed skincare 2.5% bp, moisturizer, and cleanser. it actually makes my skin dry and red, does it do that to you too?
@janne5000 Yes, very dry and red, especially in the first 3 weeks. Subsiding depends on the individual, but typically people start adjusting towards the end of the first month. and yes, as long as your products are good, 2.5% BP should be able to treat you,
Do you use both the moisturizer and an SPF product in the morning (one after the other with a 10 min. interval in between), or do you just use the SPF without the moisturizer and your good to go for the day? I have OILY SKIN . . . I would greatly appreciate the advice :) <3

@cellphoneglitz14 It can be used for all types of acne from mild to severe. I have three friends on it, two of which have mild acne and one who has severe acne. The one with mild acne are already seeing improvements in their skin even though it's only been a month. The one with severe JUST started noticing significant improvement, but it took her a whole 3.5 months of consistency with her routine. She was super patient and I just kept rooting her on. She's a lot happier now.

This system is great, however, I feel that constantly applying BP and moisturizer without using some form of exfoliation can't give one perfectly clear skin in the long run. Too much irritation from over exfoliation will lead to more acne, but not exfoliating enough should too. This is why I think adding a cream based salicylic acid cleanser once or twice a week to this regime would help obtain clearer skin without that once a month or once every two month random pimple.
@burgernuds that's why acne.org has an AHA. it's a gentle exfoliation :) if you're on the system that is. I'm not sure if you are or not but you should check it out!!
I want to try this system but I already have really REALLY flaky and dry skin (my doctor said that it's seborrheic dermatitis, and I can't seem to get rid of it) so I don't know if I will be able to handle this regimen..
But anyway, since you still wear makeup while on this system, is the acne.org cleanser able to clean off all the makeup? And how did you deal w/ wearing makeup while your skin was dry/flaky before?
@aimeiix No the cleanser is not good enough to take off your make up. I used my regular DHC Deep Cleansing Oil and then went in with Philosophy's Purity Made Simple Wash (which is really gentle) and then thirdly went in quickly with the acne.org cleanser. I have a video on it. As far as make up, I just dealt with the dryness.
@lilsis Hmm I think I'd recommend it if you really want to get rid of your acne completely. For anyone though, the process is going to be painful in the beginning.. but BP will get rid of all types of acne.

n dont use AHA for scars... use kojic acid instead...makes your skin really glow..
@shweta5201 Oh I will look into the kojic acid. Hmm holes? Not quite sure what to tell you for that since I don't really seem to have a problem with that.. and for the redness... For me the redness is caused by my use of AHA. When I use too much AHA, my skin tends to get red, but it also smooths my skin so I just try not to use too much. Sorry I couldn't be of much help! I'm sure they have a forum or something you can find on the acne.org site to help you.

@xoxhoney Haha I know what you mean girl! Just really remember to start off with only a little bit of BP at least for the beginning steps. My skin will still become rlyy dry today if I just use the three things. So now that my face is clear, I actually added in another moisturizer. Maybe you can spot moisturize in certain areas that really need it. Just try to not heavily depend on it at least for a month and a half. I did that every so often.. like once or week? Only when you rly need it.
@Neequu78 Wait, are you trying to get rid of SCARS or trying to CLEAR UP your skin? Acne.org won't help much with scars. It will help clear up your skin though. If it is for the latter, I would say to keep going. Based off my experience and makeupbyleinababyyy's, I just feel it can work for a lot of people. Hope everything works out!
@anisabby Ya, trust me I am not a fan of the moisturizer too because I don't have oily skin, but I still stuck through it. I know the ingredients in it are valid, but the formula is aimed to prevent "oily-ness". Sorry it didn't work out for you.

@Sweetlady18000 Oh man, are you absolutely positive you are allergic to Benzoyl Peroxide? I would first try to confirm if that is really true. Everyone becomes irritated initially until your skin gets used to it. Honestly, I don't know what else to tell you because the Benzoyl Peroxide is what truly will clear your acne. I haven't heard of anything else that can do the same. Possibly a retin A? But I would suggest to do more research about people who are allergic to Benzoyl Peroxide.
I'm so glad that your skin is improving. I am too. I use cetaphil gentle cleanser with my clairsonic mia, a muard treatment-- t-zone pore refining and night moisturizer-- Pangea organics -- balancing oil Himalayan Geranium & pomegranate. And my skin is improving for that last 2 & 1/2 month. So i am really happy. Now just got to worry about my scars. Once in a while, I'll breakout, but it is not as bad as before. @fobbishme Thanks! I'm glad you found something that works for you too! I really haven't been breaking out the last couple of weeks, minus one or two pimples due to hormonal shifts with my period. That's also from me not applying the BP when I should have. I appreciate the comment!! :)
Really happy you found somethat that worked for you. I am on acne.org but have not tried the system. After researching benzoyl peroxide, I decided that it was not for me. It is effective, but it can cause premature wrinkling of the skin, which is something I was not happy about.
@carolyn198205 I think the premature wrinkling is actually a myth. I was weary of this notion too, but honestly, the places where I've been using the BP are a lot smoother than other regions. Initially, you'll look like you are getting more wrinkles, but that is due to dryness which is temporary. The same goes for Daniel Kern who has been using BP for 20 years.
@carolyn198205 If you go to acne.org and go to his "FAQ" section, search for the question about BP causing wrinkles. He has a full response and even presents a photo.

I totally have to agree with everything you said in this video. :D I've been only using the BP Treatment and AHA since I love my cleansers and moisturizers and even if it took a long time to see results, the fact that I saw results makes me so happy! Acne.org work wonders for me too ^^ I love it, the only thing I find bothersome is I that have to wait a long time after the BP treatment to dry before I can apply my foundation :p

@veronikoo Yes SPF is very important while you're on the regimen because your skin will become more sensitive.

@Sweetlady18000 Oh man, are you absolutely positive you are allergic to Benzoyl Peroxide? I would first try to confirm if that is really true. Everyone becomes irritated initially until your skin gets used to it. Honestly, I don't know what else to tell you because the Benzoyl Peroxide is what truly will clear your acne. I haven't heard of anything else that can do the same. Possibly a retin A? But I would suggest to do more research about people who are allergic to Benzoyl Peroxide.

I'm so glad that your skin is improving. I am too. I use cetaphil gentle cleanser with my clairsonic mia, a muard treatment-- t-zone pore refining and night moisturizer-- Pangea organics -- balancing oil Himalayan Geranium & pomegranate. And my skin is improving for that last 2 & 1/2 month. So i am really happy. Now just got to worry about my scars. Once in a while, I'll breakout, but it is not as bad as before. Anyways I enjoy watching/listening to your story. you take care now. bye...

@fobbishme Thanks! I'm glad you found something that works for you too! I really haven't been breaking out the last couple of weeks, minus one or two pimples due to hormonal shifts with my period. That's also from me not applying the BP when I should have. I appreciate the comment!! :)

Really happy you found somethat that worked for you. I am on acne.org but have not tried the system. After researching benzoyl peroxide, I decided that it was not for me. It is effective, but it can cause premature wrinkling of the skin, which is something I was not happy about.

@carolyn198205 I think the premature wrinkling is actually a myth. I was weary of this notion too, but honestly, the places where I've been using the BP are a lot smoother than other regions. Initially, you'll look like you are getting more wrinkles, but that is due to dryness which is temporary. The same goes for Daniel Kern who has been using BP for 20 years.

I totally have to agree with everything you said in this video. :D I've been only using the BP Treatment and AHA since I love my cleansers and moisturizers and even if it took a long time to see results, the fact that I saw results makes me so happy! Your skin looks great and I am so happy it worked for you!! <3

Acne.org work wonders for me too ^^ I love it, the only thing I find bothersome is I that have to wait a long time after the BP treatment to dry before I can apply my foundation :p

@riima87 Oh yay! Glad it works for you! Ya, I know what you mean.. well actually I don't personally apply the BP in the am and that seems to work for me.. but I can see why that can become a nuisance.
