I just want you guys to know I'm sitting in Iraq listening to this. This song has always evoked a strong meaning for me as a soldier and you have done it and its deceased original composer great justice. It makes me wish I could play the trumpet so I could stand with you folks and participate in the awesome piece of music. Way to go guys, I play the trumpet myself and have yet to hear a more coordinated and superb set of trumpet players, they make me realize what it actually takes to be great, I can only pray that one day I will be blessed enough to join there ranks. You guys are absolutely amazing...you bring about a certain grace to the sound of the trumpet that is imitatable by no one else. Keep up the amazing work and if it isn't too much trouble can I get the sheet music to this song. I really like it.

high G? no. only a high C. the guy in the middle who is directing arranged it. and sent me a copy. Only goes up to a written high C, but you can add higher notes

One of my Cuz's is in the Trumpet Section of JMU,....I must say this piece was EXTREMELY well played, changes in dymanics are very well played, and the tone is cystal clear, the trumpets sound as though they are in unison, The Captain of the Trumpets ( the conductor in the middle of the circle ) is probably one of the most talented trumpeters I have EVER heard... GO JMU!
