  • it is pronounced opwatek...definitely not opaki, opwatki would be the plural form....... also when you share the opłatek with your family member you also communicate a blessing for them, for example for a prosperous new year, financial success, family health and other. Also it is 3 times on the cheek not 2. :) Wesolych Swiat :)

  • In poland we call it "opłatek" ;)

  • learn how to pronounce oplatki or oplatek it's not "opaki" for sure.

  • LOL no it's not, when you share oplatki you tell another member, or person wishes, ( the deal is, you share your oplatek with another person and the opposite shares it with you, then you exchange good wishes :) plus you don't have to kiss nobody :) Sounds good :) Happy Christmas CatholicCompany :)
