I just did it really simple. No need for all of those ingredients. You only need to mash the chickpeas (used about 1/4 cup or 67.5g), slice and dice 3-5 sweet pickles (bread and butter?), 1 tsp of the juice from the pickle jar and 1tbsp of vegenaise. Mix it together and it's only approximately 180 calories.
I just got some veganaise and it tastes really really good! But I should have read the ingredient list first. I didn't know the one I got used soy protein in it.
Looks good, im not vegan just yet.. doing my research! still a little lost lol. Where are the best places to find these kind of ingredients? Dont really have any whole food or fresh markets where i live :(
I mash my chickpeas by hand, then add Veganaise, chopped dill pickle, chopped sweet onion, chopped celery, a little nootch (nutritional yeast), ground black pepper, a little yellow mustard. I take it to work for my lunch, on toasted soft bread (not hearty bread), with a slab of iceburg lettuce! DELISH! (I like it with potato chips)
what kind of little blender did you use? where did you get it and about how much did it cost? I'd love to try this recipe. thx for sharing!!!!

I have the same trouble finding ingredients, but if i can't make my own (like mayo) you can actually find them online.

I meant I mash the chickpeas with a fork, not literally "by hand"!

I never had tuna (or any other fish, for that matter.) when I wasn't a vegan, so it should be interesting to try.
