Had the luck of meeting Tyla a couple of times. Great band and his solo stuff… the guy writes from the heart. Great guy, fantastic music, listen to uncharted heights of disgrace, the guys a true artist.

The 1st time I heard of these was when they were supporting uriah heap at some club in Stoke-on-trent, after their set Tyla was at the bar surrounded by a few girls, I made the mistake of asking him if they had any records out yet! I was instantly set upon. It took a couple of mates to pull me out alive, lol. But I've seen them a fair few times since, fantastic band.

I saw the dogs loads of times in the late 80's and early 90's. I don't remember Tyla speaking with an american accent at any of the gigs, or when he used to sit around having a pint with the rest of us! The Dogs' gigs were ALWAYS the times when you know you'd be really wrecked and have a great time.
