@AdamNeisler Probably in lightwinds (definitely downwind, if not upwind, where drag increases quickly as sail size increases), but all the speed records set by these boats are when they are reefed - so using a considerably smaller sail, but in stronger winds.
it seems to be like there is too much weight on the tail... nevertheless, great video, huge speed ! nice :-D

No. The limit to power is stability and they are at their limit here. More sail would flip them.

Yes, canting (and rotating) mast. Quite visible at 1:05-1:10 (head-on shot).
