  • That chainsmoking Scotch guzzling fuck's idea of the height of humanity was perpetual war in Iraq, fought to the last drop of someone else's blood. Hitch himself was FAR TOO SUPERIOR to go fight that war himself, in Hitch's bloodshot eyes. He couldn't get off on Americans dying in Iraq anymore, so he lost the will to live. Fuck you Christopher Hitchens. Rot in pieces.

  • Stop drinking idiot, he is going to hell anyway. :) You need to find god in your life. :)

  • @SlowY00 ... Shut up you with your hateful, stupid fire crazed ghost!

  • @exmuslimforever fire crazed? mmmmmmmmmmkey. Whatever, this guy needs god in his life if he want to be happy. Other wise he will be miserable.

  • @SlowY00 No one would like to be miserable and deluded by a friend in the sky. It's obviously better to live in reality.

  • @exmuslimforever Just because you cant see doesnt mean that god doesnt exist, you can feel him in the prayer in salah(tranqulity). However, if this world is a test. Either you pass it or fail it. Good luck.

  • @SlowY00 LOL!! salah?what facts are there to validate its effectiveness? what tranquility? The idea that your "god" conducts a "test" means he is not ALL KNOWING as a test is a process of finding out. He needs to carry out tests to see what we will do. Why don't we get told of it beforehand? I need to be told that there's a test and I need to accept it before I'm put through it. Your "god" didn't ask me for my acceptance so that is basically UNJUST... should I continue showing your absurdities ?

  • @exmuslimforeverMy tribute to Chris Hitchins. UNDER HIS BREATH!

  • Hello soretayuki

  • I would love to use this in my compilation video for Hitchens. Would you like to send it to me as a video response? it is helping me keep all the videos organized.

  • *shakes head* I will miss Hitch. I will miss his future insight and production. And although I am not a physician or his physician, therefore I can not say what attributed to his death. I will hazard a guess and say he was addicted to alcohol and cigarettes. Drink to him while cigarette smoke dances wreathes around your head is stupid. I hope you learned more from him than that. Perhaps you might dedicate your first symphony or book to him as further tribute.

  • I'm with you brother.

  • @Angk0rwat - Out fight wasn't with 'Iraq', it was with the terror cells within Iraq. The fact is, the world is better off without those terrorists, and no pathetic excuses you can make will change that...and that is what Hitch supported. He was person of peace because he taught many to free their mind out of delusions of the supernatural and illogical thinking...like yours. This video and thread is a testament to how many people he helped bring a sense of gratitude and peace.

  • He gave dignity in raising a fist to religion and extending the middle finger with a defiant "fuck you". This man was a legend long before his death.

I think we all owe it to ourselves to keep the mourning short, and step up the fight for the individual freedoms that the men and women like Hitchens throughout history have made possible.

Cheers to the living, we will never forget our fallen.

  • Remember the Hitch would want you fighting.

  • Thank You for this video.my heart is sadden by his loss

  • @Angk0rwat - I never said you were a terrorist moron. I asked if you support removing terrorists regimes. Pay attention. You're deluded if you do not realize Al-qeada and the Taliban train civilians to kill our soldiers. They wear no uniform, they do not announce they are military. Ever hear of human shields? Ever see these 'civilians' approach our military then open fire? Its not like we're exterminating these people you idiot. And yes, accidents do happen, but its not our 'cause'.

  • @Angk0rwat - Al-qeada was just ONE of the issues. Have you forgotten the Taliban and splinter factions being there as well or do you just not consider them terrorists? Clearly you have been shown as a knee-jerk reactionary to things you have never given much thought. Your defense is to now jump from terrorism to oil?? You want to claim the war has absolutely nothing to do with terrorists?? Brilliant counter moron. Grasp for more straws.

Let me guess. You are a 9/11 conspiracy nut.

  • @Angk0rwat - Additionally, you apparently overlook he was a writer for political rags and HAD to get acquainted with all levels of foreign policy. The ONLY thing he ever had in common with a neo-con agenda was getting rid of totalitarian regimes. So, once again, are you or are you not in support of removing these militant totalitarian regimes?

  • @StarPathImages I READ YOUR ARGUMENTS AND YOU ARE JUST AN IDIOT. I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY ANYONE WANTS TO ARGUE WITH A BRAINWASHED TRASH LIKE YOU. TRY TO BECOME USEFUL AND KILL YOURSELF.

  • @glower125 - Spoken like a true delusional. Can't make a valid point so you whine like a fascist 2yr old? Why not prove I am wrong instead of just shooting petty spitballs that serve no purpose but to prove you really have no point whatsoever about Hitchens.

  • @glower125 - Let me guess. You're a Christian.

Care to give an actual reason why you do not agree with my points? Oh wait, I forgot, you're incapable of reason.

Only delusional sheeple that need imaginary friends to talk to would attempt to jerk off someone for sending a message of support and hope to others that ISN'T imaginary and delusional.

You have no real points so you just have to sling mud like a child. Pathetic.

  • @Angk0rwat - No Al-qeada in Iraq?? What planet are you from? Obviously you HAVE been getting your info from some dubious source. I suppose the terms 'Salafi jihadi', Taliban, and (AQI) would be completely lost on enlightening your ignorant ass.

Once again, you obviously know NOTHING of Hitch as he fought neo-con agendas including a hard rail against GWB, and Henry Kissinger. Perhaps you should actually do some research before making stupid comments on things you know nothing about.

  • @Angk0rwat - How do I put this delicately? Are you a coward? Why do you not answer my question? Do you support Al-qeada, or not? Do you think we should use military force to stop their efforts?

In other words, you have no real point to make on Hitch, just political rhetoric and propaganda you've likely been spoon fed by Faux News. For, if you had an actual beef with Hitch, you would have made an actual, REAL point. But, you haven't, so it proves you are quite the consummate idiot.

  • @Angk0rwat - Yeah, actually it does follow because Hitch had NOTHING to do with dead civilians moron. That was errors on our military's part, ie. the leadership, of which Hitch has stated while he does not necessarily agree with HOW things are being done, and certainly slammed GWB for his ignorance, he did agree, as do many that the world would be better off without Hussein, Osama, and Al-qeada. So, are you for Al-qeada or against al-qeada...that's the obvious question.

  • I'm going to play devil's advocate, because it is fun, and because I think it adds a helpful perspective. Mourning is a natural human response, it is emotional, and I do not blame anyone for honoring their emotions. But, despite how incredible this man was, and will no doubt continue to be, his weakness to alcohol and other substances are what did him in. It is the one part of his character where one could see obvious weakness. I don't think 'drinking away' your pain helps anything.

  • @Angk0rwat - I can assure you I'm not. Hitchens was a champion of reason, and therefore a prince of peace. In comparison, you're just a big fat fucking nobody.

  • Great writers still have the power to liberate and educate and inspire ordinary people, and to create an intellectual movement of human solidarity in a world where anti-reason and thoughtlessness is endemic. Thank you, Christopher Hitchens, for playing your part in making the world a better place. We who are left behind will remember what you taught us, your eloquence and wit, and when our confidence falters, you will give us strength! I will raise a toast of JW to you tonight!

  • 53dumey = Trollish Jackass

  • Hitchens = Cult Leader

  • That was a beautiful, moving tribute. X

  • I felt the same as what your sentiments expressed. The Johnny Walker was good, but certainly no replacement for such a true prince of peace, a warrior of reason.

    Thanks for the post.

  • So long, Chris. And thanks for all the Hitch. *raises glass*

  • I had some Johnnie Walker Black today in memory of Christopher Hitchens

  • ONE LESS NEO-CON NAZI FOR SURE.

  • @glower125 Enough Johnny Walker in the world to drown you in . . .

  • @glower125 [ Spoken like a true delusional who never knew Hitch. His single most prime directive was fighting fascism. Yes, even fascism formed within religions, like yours. He never once approached anything resembling a neo-con, you brainless moron.

  • Let's just go out tonight and have a black john

ny walker in honour of the Hitch...

    Cheers!

  • Thanks for sending us Hitch, UK

  • lets stick together this isnt a joke. i will stand

  • kireii desuyo.

    hitchens wa tottemo sugoi desune

  • And you are a perfect example of his legacy, Soreta Yuki.

    To The Hitch!

  • One less neocon in the world at least

  • I can't describe how sad I am... Thanks Hitch

  • Great video...

  • Thank you for your vid. It helps share the pain of his loss.

  • when i saw the news today, i felt like i lost a great mentor, i have never met him but he had tremendous influcence in my life.

at least you are no longer in pain, you will be missed

  • I actually considered for a few hours going back to that bad habit I'd gotten rid off as a tribute to him. Smoking. But I thought I might as well get going with what he said we should do instead.

    I'll miss him sorrowly.

  • I shall raise my glass and join you my friend in thanking Christopher and saying goodbye.

I feel privileged to have lived in the times that he did.

    Thank you Hitch.

  • Thanks for this Soreta Yuki and well said shade9592.

  • Thank you for everything Hitch. It was a privilege to read and listen to you.

You left a lasting legacy on your fellow humans beings, and me, and for that I thank you.

  • Am I afraid of death? , No. What scares me more, is the thought there might not be another Christopher Hitchens out there. Now that's a scary thought.

  • Goodbye Hitch. You will be missed.

  • I hope you don't mind, I would like to share this nod to Mr. Hitchens on my Facebook page. Altho I am not an atheist, I would also like to do a tribute for him at some point like my Steve Jobs tribute. He was a great man.

  • We should be all grateful that such an individual lived in our lifetime who dedicated his life to sanity and reason. Long prior to having heard of him I had always pondered WHY do we this far in our knowledge of what makes things work- that the earth is not flat, thunder is not the voice of god- having penetrated space, walked on the moon (not cheese) do so many hold on to ancient myths invented by more ignorant men? Knowing clearly yet so many hold tightly to the snare and racket of religion.

  • @jbooks888,

Is that what your mother said when she shat you out?

  • His physical existence may have ended but he will live on in my memory, and hopefully, in the memory of many others. The wisdom, freedom and peace of mind he has helped us attain are evidence that he has lived a life worth living. He has done his part, and we must do ours.

To Hitchens! May he never be forgotten!

  • As my tribute today to Christopher Hitchens I'm gonna drink his favorite alcoholic beverage. Johnny Walker Black.

  • I am doing as you are. Funny: I was just re-reading "God Is Not Great" this week, and I was also paging through "Lying About Hitler," a book I was encouraged to read by one of the Hitch's excellent reviews.

I'd say rest in peace, but it wouldn't be right for a man who made contention and contrariness his life's work.

  • He certainly was very passionate about his cause & influential on my life. I will raise a glass for him too!

  • I'm expecting creationists to start claiming he recanted on his deathbed.

  • Thanks for putting this together. I'm really gonna miss him.

  • " I want to take the risk of living my life like I don't know anything like enough yet"

A legend... A crack of light in the curtain of ignorance....We lost the greatest spokesman against the lies of primitive superstition...His words will live on....To Hitch.

  • makes u want to live ur life as best as u could

a righteous soul, sharp mind, and a fearless heart

  • To Hitchens *raises glass*

  • Let's make Hitchens go viral in his honor. Facebook, mirrors, quotes, anything & everything.

Superstition should have died before this man. Unfortunately that's not been the case, so it is up to us to continue his legacy.

    RIP Sir.

  • Sad day. Great Man, Powerful intellect. Someday his writing will supersede the dogmatism of these childish religions. I just hope that that day is not too far away. But it does reaffirm that we must go forward armed quite nicely with Christopher’s works and words. His body of work added to our constantly expanding arsenal against insecurity, superstition, and ignorance.

    RIP Christopher

  • I'm glad you made this video, brother... I don't think I'll be able to. Everytime I think about it I start tearing up like a little bitch with a skinned knee and shit...

Hitch, you will always be my foundest mentor (as he did not like the concept of heroes)... Thanks for your words that continue to change my life, even today, though you've since expired and left us alone, on this pale blue dot in the middle of nowhere.

    In Memory of Hitch ♥ (1949 - 2011)

  • @theirishfrog I'm in the same state as you are. We will sorely miss him, and the way he thought before he spoke, the passion in which he delivered his ideas and thoughts inspired me to take the clean leap of admitting to my family that I will not pretend to believe anymore! Thank you Mr Hitchens, I feel as though I always knew you.

  • He was a great man. Now it's up to us to carry on his legacy.

  • That was actually very moving.

    Great vid.

    Very sad day.

  • Thank you and let's carry forth our dear Hitchens' ferocity. Here's to a great man who truly lived.

  • Cheers, mate...

  • What a loss .....

  • Dammit, I discovered him just recently, too.

  • Christopher Hitchens thank you for having us. <3

  • Great man and a great loss for humanity.

But who wants to bet, that creationist motherfuckers will come around and claim he stated he believed in god on his deathbed?

Filthy scum will stop at nothing with their hatespeech.

  • @thedutchman01 I'm pretty sure he had some plans to counteract that.

  • Here here...

  • well put. I am at a loss for words his passing has meaning to me unlike the other high profile deaths this year.

  • I never researched him much, Nor listened to him much while he was alive, But now, Now I will.

  • @TheEnglishAtheist1 If you read Hitchens' books I guarentee you will be better informed and more thoughtful. He was a flawed giant.

  • And already I have seen the first video by a Christian claiming that he converted on his deathbed. It's a sick world out there.

  • @itsjustameme "..video by a Christian.." Really! Are you sure it's not just a troll trying to stoke a fire? Where will i find that vid?

  • @itsjustameme He said himself, That if he were to say any such rubbish near to his death, It would not be him, Nor his rational mind doing so. But that Christian lie is just so slimy, And sick.

  • he went too soon.

  • A great man has passed, but him great memory will live on :'(

  • Man what a bummer. :(

  • the man may fall, but his thoughts and words will still inspire millions,

raise your glasses to Christopher Hitchens

  • He will be greatly missed. Bye Chris...

  • :-)

  • Chris took his atheism to the grave, not a death bed conversion like many will fabricate. His will to not give in superstition despite his illness will fly in the face of the theists.

  • Unlike Hitchens, words fail me! I will miss him!

  • Goddamn, hard to believe.

It really is up to us now.

  • FUCK

  • I've been weeping intermittantly for the past 1.5hrs. I've raised several shots and bottles of ale in honor of Hitch. His books are stacked at my right side.

    He's gone-now it's up to US.

  • That better have been some of Mr. Walker's amber restorative.

    A gutwrenching day.

  • Goodbye to a great warrior of truth and reason.

  • Amen, brother.

  • Wow... I had no idea. This video is the first I heard. Rest in peace Mr. Hitchens. :(

  • I legit cried when i heard the news. Christopher Hitchens changed the way i looked at the world, the way i looked at politics and religion. Hitchens will always be a hero to me and ill never forget him.
