  • i think i remember this. weird.

  • Also known as "Foulstuff".....great-uncle worked for Griesedieck Bros and later A-B and couldn't even look at it........

  • "The Falstaff Chilling Tower", what the hell? Was that for real? I've never even heard of such a device!!!

  • my grandpa harold hawk was a falstaff salesman in guthrie,ok in the 1950's

  • man-size pleasure? taste to satisfy your man-size thirst?

  • cool

  • Rumor was that Diz actually drank a few Falstaffs during the broadcast of the CBS Game of the Week. Anyone know if there is any truth to this ? I remember him doing "live on the air" from the booth Falstaff commercials between innings, during which he would pour a bottle into a glass. BTW, Ole Diz & PeeWee walked directly infront of me at a CBS Game of the Week at St. Louis in Aug 1963. Big white cowboy hat and all !!!!!!

  • Use to drink Falstaff and Jax beer back in the day!!

  • Had several on tap in Las Vegas back in the late 1970's. Is is still around?

  • I loved falstaff beer and stag beer and even lone star. the only beer i didnt like was miller light.

  • falstaff mixed with everclear thats a real mans drink

  • I would like to see the old Falstaff Commercials that ran during the baseball games that Dizzy Dean & Pee Wee Reese announced. They were animated. It was something like the baseball manager stood 2 feet tall and all you saw of the players were they cleats up to the knees. It was hilarious.

  • My brother and I had Dizzy Dean autographed photos when were kids, they had the Falstaff logo on the bottom left corner.

  • Did the attacker know that the other guy had beer in his briefcase?

  • A beer commercial is not real life.

  • man that was shitty beer in the 70's

  • can't argue with that! i tried it in the 80's. I wasn't impressed.

  • nonsense. in the 70's it tasted like every other beer.

  • The first party I went to hosted by a friend who became my wife, I was able to grab a 6 of Falstaff on the way there, being a BYOB party, as most were amongst my circle of friends in San Francisco at the time. I had gotten tired of taking good beer to a party and having everyone else drink it before I could have a second bottle - thus, my contribution of Falsaff.

Fast forward a year and we start dating. What do I find in the back of her fridge? Five cans of Falstaff.

  • Filmed in the lobby of St. Louis' Chase Park-Plaza Hotel, which closed, but has re-opened.

  • Any old time White Sox fans remember Harry Carray's Falstaff ads on WSNS?

  • dizzy dean & peewee reese were doing it in late '50's

  • Yes... and the Gabe and Walker Falstaff commercials

  • I tried it once about 13 years ago when I first became a bartender, Wow that was nasty stuff.

  • always was; nothing "premium" about it

  • Man-sized pleasure?

  • Ahhhh, This is the one

Taste to satisfy your man-sized thirst

yet light enough leave room for more.
