We want to reduce as much pollution and nauseous gases as possible when paving roads. This means finding new ways of making cement that does emit so much fumes. Also, we want to make cement that does not reflect so much heat. We would also want to make sure soil is not contaminated by concrete and cement powder. We need to use cleaner types of fuels to operate machinery.

Very interesting concept! Here in Canada, many highways are surrounded with trees and other plants but they are not harvested... Common reed is often used in the middle of lanes to catch pollutants from the highways. The biomass generated by these reeds is amazing!
