xavi is not underrated the reason he is not highly rate like ronaldo messi torres etc is simply because forwards and attacking mids score the goals and do the fancy tricks CM jus pass the ball and that will never be as important as scoring the goal.. Lampard and Gerrard are rated higher than him simply because they score A LOT of goals and spectacular 1's @ that and Fabregas (his prodigy) his now being hyped up because he is scoring goals and he's jus 22 with basically the same ability as Xavi

Xavi is the greatest midfielder in the world, he won best player of Euro 2008, 5th best player in the world in 2008, behind Kaka', Torres and CR9, and has passed them in terms of skill. His assist total last year was above 100, and he does score too.. about 12 goals last year, not bad for him.

HE IS THE BEST MIDFIELDER IN THE WORLD.

The only ones rivalling him are Kaka', Fabregas and Iniesta.

xavi is great by i think that Bastian Scweinsteiger is a better playmaker he make this passes in midelfield like nobody else 2 matches ago he wasnt play cause the yellow cards. the team has no idea and it was a big hole in midlefiled the comentator has a lot times says that you can see why they need Schweinsteiger.

lol just 2 years ago schwini wasn't even played in midfield. People were putting him on the wing. So Germany has few good games and you want to compare him with Xavi? Xavi's been dominating midfield for over 5 years. Only Zidane before he retired was better than Xavi. No one else can touch both of them in this century
