I saw H2O 2 years ago. Since that moment, I stop smoking, I rarely drink alcohol. I could say that this band gave me the fuckin* strength to do so. I didn't do it to "look cool", nor to insult people who smoke/drink. I did it for me, my family, my girlfriend and all my friends. And yeah, I'm proud of it

Okay... I'm not straight edge, but like kaneslittlebrother said, society tells you that drinking, smoking, and drugs are good, and even though I'm not straight edge, I know a lot of the things I do are wrong. And I can admit straight edge is anything BUT poser, because they started their own damn form of punk rock, going against the stereotypical shooting up heroin and getting wasted punk rock we think of. I think it's pretty goddamn cool that they can resist those temptations. Peace.

You serious here? Society tells us to be the exact OPPOSITE of straight edge. T.V. shows that people watch now (one example being Jersey Shore) send a message that drinking, smoking, and doing other drugs are common place, and good, which seeps through to the younger generation: the teenagers and adolescents of today. Being a straight edge teenager, and part of that generation, I can see that you didn't think before writing this
