walked into a barber shop in Swansea in Wales to get a hair cut from the elderly proprietor. Started talking (I was 27) and music came up. I stated that my favourite band is Steely Dan. His eyes lit up and he siad I was the first person in 30 years who have ever mentioned the Dan. He instantly went downstairs and grabbed all his CD's and we proceeded to compare our best songs/solo's etc which is when he played this track. I looked at him quizzically because I never heard it before...no I know :)
@robdbuck Thats very cool.I have found one of the intresitng things about being a 'dan fan' is the cross section of people who wouldnt normally know eachother will talk shop.
1993? For real? It's been (almost) 20 years since this came out? Feels as fresh as the first day. My iPod smiles everytime this song come on. Any Donald Fagen song for that matter. The man's a genius as few exist. Wish there were more videos of his music. Happy new 2003
such a smooth groove ina rockin packet of pleasure ...sweet as music can get all interwined and come out on top ...with the groove just pumping ...did this guy cause rap ...I hate rap !!!!
