  • I was lost and found

    I had hit the ground

I was lost but now I found

That I don't need no one

    To survive

    You've got to believe alone

    You'll rise

  • we don not make a deal if we loose ..the singer.also thump down.a diamond is only perfect with the complete ccccs.

  • truly... dey r d metal gods!!!! judas for eva babe...

  • GLENN AND KK I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • great song!!! but what's wrong with 19 people???

  • @kingstiger221 They just suck.....and dont have a taste for truly moving music.

  • this song was written by Tippton in beloving memory of his wife who pased away...

    ''closed to you'' as well...

    beautiful music....

  • @therockstarbabby This song and Close to you was written by Glenn and KK.

  • I just broke up with my girlfriend, and it brought me to the bottom after everything. Now I'm drifting on a sea of doubt still loving and wanting you back.I'm lost and not found...no matter how many times you break my heart,it will always beat for you...

  • @that70sshhow it sounds like you really loved her...but dont give up...there are much fishes in the sea...and maybe theres someone out there who loves you even more than you loved your girlfriend...

  • Great Song!!!

  • Judas Priest for ever!!!

  • I got lost...but never found

  • today in Hellas !!!!!!!!!! \m/

  • tommorow in Hellas we all will HAIL the Metal Gods

  • Demolition times....Great Ripper!! miss K.K.:(

  • K.K! WHY DID YOU LEAVE EARLY!? :(

  • the ripper is a great singer ,he did great job on those 2 albums,i wish priest had recorded more ,i think he surpasses all above to blaze bayley iron maiden ex vocalist, i love this judas priest period ,they always had this side for ballads, but most of the songs with tim the ripper ,was more brutal ..viva judas priest in all era's

  • watch?v=rfzFEpDfmxE

    †

  • some people don't suffer because they've got no hearts

  • sagapo toso alla me vasanizeis gamoto....afto to tragoudi me exei voithisei poli stin asximi fasi pou eimai :( sagapo athina <3

  • Why do people have to compare everybody? Tim doesn't compare himself to Halford.Rob Halford and Judas Priest are the reason he started singing heavy metal. If you ask him he will tell you Halford is one of the best ever.As far as people putting these albums down, Tim didn't get to have a lot of input. Any one that puts Tim down because he isn't Halford is missing out. He is amazing in his own right. They are both great people and great singers. Enough said...

  • it's just impossible that something can be sooooo amazing. *-*

  • Halford > Ripper

  • who is the singer???doesnt look like with rob

  • @nikakis89His name is Tim "Ripper" Owens

  • helll yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!best song!!!

  • cathedral spires and lost& found are the best songs of ripper in judas

  • I didn't think I would ever find a video of this track

  • So why are the studio vocals recorded over this?

Unless Ripper is so awesome he can double his vocals live

  • @HenkHenk76 Don't think this was intended to be an official video.

  • @WinterSoilder

It's not, it's just the soundcheck of the 2001 show Live in London.

I have de DVD myself, but I still wonder why this song (I think) the studio recordings on it, while the other soundcheck video's have the soundcheck.. uhm.. sound.

  • @HenkHenk76 Ah, yeah. Sorry for misunderstanding. I've actually wondered that myself. But, there's alot about the last couple years that Tim was w/ them that I wonder about. "Why didn't they ever play 'Cathedral Spires?'" and whatnot. They seemed to really be giving him the shaft those last couple years, set-list wise.

  • @WinterSoilder

Yeah, I think that they sort of realised they couldn't keep Ripper forever, and that fans wanted Rob back.

I thought Cathedral Spires was the best song on Jugulator.

Too bad it wasn't such a great album overall. (though Ripper did a great job on it, it was the guitarsound and playing that disappointed me)

  • @HenkHenk76 Yeah 'Jugulator' and 'Demolition' both could've been much better. After hearing the Beyond Fear album, I'm convinced they'd have been MUCH better if they'd let Ripper actually handle lyrics. Guitar wise, yeah Glen and K.K. had some funky ass sounds going on. Some of it was just.... weird.

  • @WinterSoilder

I thought the vocals were awesome, the lyrics somewhat... childishly simple.

It just didn't sound like Priest at all, more like a band of 14 year olds playing their first metal songs.

Very basic, very simple and a lame sound overall.

Demolition was somewhat better, but I agree. Both albums could've been so much better.

  • This sucks, halford is way better in my opinion

  • Magic song...Magic Band

  • cool and timeless!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Cant say I like Tim singing too much, Rob will always be the face of Priest for me. But it is a damn good song!!! Rock on Priest!!!!

  • Well,Tim is the best metal singer today!!!!!!

  • very good song!!! ok there is no comparison between ripper and halford BUT ripper years had some wonderful momments!!!!!

  • Very cool, as well as surprised i found ,

    Thanks again

    Heavenkept

  • kk glen and ian incredible song writters they wrote this for ripper!!

  • @teebrron :Z Actually only Glenn wrote it.

  • Not bad, but not the Priest I know and love...PRIEST!!! Rock Forever!

  • Comment removed

  • not bad, don't like Owens' vocals

  • It is only you, Judas Priest and Rock.

  • Bellissima ballata!

  • I see the guitar players, drummer bass player, but this doesnt sound like priest.

    sounds like a warrant ballad.

  • @glennjridge I don't agree with you.I mean I love Rob more than Tim( and Rob is better) butt he was new, and fresh and he added something new to Priest. And generaly I'll never get tired of listening them because every album is a kind of story for himself.Every album is different and awesome.Even Jugulator and Demolition where Rob is gone.

  • @glennjridge PRIEST has other "ballads" with HALFORD!

  • iron maiden and judas priest

  • @fautivista Judas Priest and ironmaiden

  • A black and white acoustic vid for a ballad by a metal band........ I can name 5 XD

  • where cai i find the whole demolition album???

  • 1:05 Glen Is Crying???

  • I always used to be afraid That I was going to lose my way I never used to walk in line but stray I never thought I'd see it through That I could deal with losing you But suddenly I see the light of day Leading me in From out of the night Staying on course - I'm still alive I had to confess I never thought I would ever survive I was lost and found I had run aground I was lost but no
  • I'm curious what is this song about and, did Ripper buy the rights to all the Judas Priest songs with his vocals on them? I sure would like to hear Rob do the Ripper Owens Era priest stuff. That would be cool in my opinion. As for "Who's betteR: I think that both have their own unique traits that they bring to priest. Ripper had the multiple ranged vocals while, Rob has those classic high pitched screams that we all know and love.

  • @mkadragtonslayer Dude, Ripper does not have any rights. 99% of Jugulator and Demolition is done by Tipton.

  • @mkadragtonslayer I believe this song is part 2 of Close To You. You can't just stop doing what you do, you need to continue your life even if you have lost your love or something. Thats what this song is about.

  • i love it!!!!!!!!!

  • Good song

  • amazing song!!!

  • "I never thought I'd see it through

That I could deal with losing you"

    =(((((((((((

  • algien tiene este tema traducido en español

  • L O V E this song. an other favo song from priest. \m/

  • machine man~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    awesome

  • ♣♣♣ SO GOOD OLD STUFF ♣♣♣

  • ripper sucks...i can sing so much better than him

  • @mrojas3221 you are fuckin' fag

  • @mrojas3221 ahahahah u r soo funny

  • nice!

  • i love this song

  • magical voice

  • It would be nice if Priest came on tour with both Rob and Ripper.

  • @ Buitretom your response sounds biased, what happened to the beginning of your response with "why don't you stop with who's better?" sounds like you digressed d from that, went ahead and defended Rob.

  • This is the great song!

  • Judas Priest is the BEST EVER!!!!!!

  • tim did a great job sound like rob rob fit the band better....i'd like to see tim in his own band i bet he'd slay

  • ripper is a good singer he fitts the band but halford will always be the metal god

    Thumbs up this comment

This is coming from directly from MM offficial's leader. GET TO IT BROTHERS

  • I fall in love with this song...First time I heard it :)

  • I love that bands like maiden and priest can go so long without line up changes and even though rob and bruce left their respective bands to do solo shit (which kicked ass) i think they were right to entrust blaze and ripper to head up as frontmen, i dont consider the albums that they put out in this time to be a part of their legacies but it was some good stuff nonetheless. Respect the band and they'll be around to rock you longer, peace love and metal-rock on. \m/

  • still thinks rob is much better fit for the band

  • Das is doch nich Rob Helford wer ist dieser gute Sänger`?

  • @MrKingEddy Das ist Tim "Ripper" Owens

  • the only judas priest i like was with Tim. Irt wast really agressvive, heavy and strong. Rob is so....gay.

  • Where is Halford? :O

  • Tim's a mad singer

  • Both are excellent singers, but Rob belongs in Priest.

  • rob, being a metal god, is simply irreplaceable

that being said, tim did a hell of a job replacing him. personally, I find this to be Tim's finest song

  • this is a beautiful song. rob halford is the true front man for priest. but ripper owens was amazing. still is.

  • TIM kept it Alive , so the man could come back...gotta respect that.....

GAY or not Judas without ROB is not Judas.....but the ripper will always ROCK.

  • I can't comment very much, no words can describe this, I just can say "simply the best", nothing more.

  • Ripper was the best solution for JP in that times

  • WTF who's that guy

  • @fattirevsbud ripper owens. he was a singer for a priest tribute band called British steel, he replaced rob from 96 -03 when rob left for his side bands. 15 years later rob came back. Owens was in 2 albums; jugulator and demolition

  • Ripper's a great singer, but JP was meant to have Rob at the healm. Anyway, now that Ripper is doing other things, he's free to really show what he's made of. Priest was a pidgeon-hole for him, because he'd forever be compared to Rob Halford.

  • @SamTheHammer That's true... Singers in Ripper's place will always be between a rock and a hard place; they will either be criticized for adding a new voice, or worse still- if they copy the style of the person they replaced. I'm glad Ripper had something new to lend to Priest. Ripper haters should compare Ripper to himself and no one else. I love Priest with Halford, but I love Jugulator and Demolition too

  • dont like the new vocalist in judas priest at all,and think halford was much better.

  • LOL ... the "new" vocalist (after this one above) is HALFORD...LOLOLOLOLOL

  • Ripper BLOWS

  • Comment removed

  • This is not their new vocalist. After an hiatus he reunited with priest in 2003 i guess.

This guy (Tim Ripper Owens) is with Malmsteen now.

  • Great song, great singer. Imho it would have been almost impossible to find a better replacement for Rob. That said, Halford still is 100x better than Ripper(and he IS good).

  • @irreligious80 rob in his prime is one of the best...but i saw priest with ripper at the healm...very very impressed....so much intensity....rob didn't have at that time...he was interested in other things but has come back to his old self...but those fight cds were so bad ass...

  • Halford definitely makes the JP persona, however, Ripper can sing don't take that away from him.

  • Judas Priest without Rob Halford, I dont think so...

  • For me this is not Judas Priest, but it's nice.

  • Yeah its not Judas Priest, its more like Ripper Priest or Judas Ripper!

  • this aint even judas priest

  • yes it is

  • This is a pretty good song!

  • omg they just killed the solo...

  • Just imagine for a moment,Rob singing this one...How great it would be......

This fellow is a good singer but maybe not good enough to sing JP songs.

  • @JBodine67 Dude listen to what JP put out after Tim left...total crap!! JP lost it, and Halford no longer does them justice. Even live Halford is overweight, and just stays hunched over. Not a good front man

  • @LordsOfBelltown......You are welcome to your opinion,of course;but in reply to your comment,I think there is no Judas Priest without Rob Halford.

Rock is about the passion man......and no one is more hard core metal than Rob...He is the Best frontman.

Even old,fat and gay he still rocks with the best of them...Rob Halford has the voice and talent every metal singer wishes he/she had....Dude.

  • youre right, maybe I have trouble accepting that Rob isnt the guy singing Bloodstone in 83', but everyone rips on Tim, he breathed new life into a tired band, and they were going places. put on Jugulator if you doubt me

  • @LordsOfBelltown......After Defenders of the Faith I lost interest in JP for quite a while....like the song I was lost but now I found JP again...here on utube.

My opinion....Jugulator is not my cup of tea...I like melody with my metal.check out Worth Fighting For live

  • he's also lost his ability to hit his old notes and sustain them, i wouldn't pay much to see them if halford is still up front

  • @LordsOfBelltown I don't think so. Angel of Retribution is a very good album, Nostradamus is not as good but still quite good. Rob Halford is not only a good singer but also a very good Songwriter.

  • but in my opinion i like tims voice better but noone can take robs name of METAL GOD

  • tim is great, but rob is judas.

  • there both good they have their diffferent style tim is more calm and rob is just straight up heavy metal

  • what album is this on?

  • well, not sure but definetly is one of tim owens albums w/ judas priest, this is not a Rob Halford's song, so either demolition or the other one

  • @dnvnluna

    Its from Demolition

  • Demolition

  • another great band

  • canta bien el nuevito, pero Rob ES EL CANTANTE DE JUDAS PRIEST!

    este que se valla !

    quiero a Rob!

  • Here 's a thought .... not an opinion ,but if Sir Rob was to leave or couldn't cut it any more ....Who would you guys have as a "replacement" .

  • I would have Tim back, thats my opinion.

  • @dnvnluna If he would come back he couldn't do all these outstanding projects and guest appearances he is doing currently. But i wish him a great band where he can stay for some years in and fill big concert halls.

  • I'm trying to "get like" Ripper's voice.

But 'am trying that for five years...

  • where is Halford :'( ?

  • Why don't you stop with the "who is better" shit...nobody really cares. Rob is the so called Rock God and he sure deserves the title and IMO Tim did a great job while joining Priest...his voice fitted in very well ¿Rob s getting old? that's life mate...just wait and take a look look in the mirror

  • @Buitretom your damn right! I think that rob is a metal god, but Tim did awesome job in Judas Priest, they're both gods \,,/. Ripper was best singer for jugulator and demoliton era's

  • @Buitretom you take the words from my lips

  • @Buitretom

    Exakt!!

  • @Buitretom Most epic comment i ve ever read...

  • This was the album that got me into Priest. I enjoy the absolute darkness of Demolition. Ripper rocks, but you really can't replace a rock god like Halford. Either way... Priest Kicks ASS!

  • I can relate to you on that one.

Tim Owens is to Judas Priest what John Bush is to Anthrax and...to a lesser extent....what John Corabi was to Motley Crue.

  • are you crazyyy !! there's no judas priest without the metal god go listen his self project !!!!!!

  • Rob halford kicks Ripper owens arse .

  • absolutely!!!

  • They are both the business.

A Halford/Owens priest duet would be, well, THE ULTIMATE.

  • wtf??

wut does it matter if halford is gettng old dude! he still fucking goes for those high notes, age is only a number, if ur implying ripper is better than halford ur WAAAAAY off dude

  • настоящий рок))

  • METAL GODS!!!!!!

  • Nope.

  • look i think this was a greaT ASSET TO THE BAND THAT HAD SOME GREAT TIMES AND NEED TO HAVE SOME CHANGE

  • the rippers voice is great its definately a asset to the groop

  • man i herd this song and its a great ballad and the album is great for a change it sonds better than halfords screamin

  • i dissagree, the screamin was one of the things that got me in to priest, at first it was becuase it reminded me of cats:P owens is a good singer, but i think rob is way better.

  • i was huge on the last one, im glad they put in the effort, but i miss the old sound, AoR, was way better
