Pop art in general is an ideology of taking away the artists hand. This means getting as much of a machine made quality as possible in order to remove any trace of human interaction with the piece.
@1mcool at first he paints the person or thing he paints then he paint some kind of glue which protects the colour over the things that should be seen and then paints black over the whole painting.
and at the end he just has to put away that glue stuff :)
@whatifw because he wants the back in black ( hehe ) and without theglue it would take hours to paint it that exact.
so he paints the protectionglue over the areas he DONT want to have black then he paints black all over the painting so he just has to put the glue away to have a nice painting :)
