Amazing! Images and Words is one of my favorite albums of all time and you did VERY VERY well on those solos!

But I think it's at the section at 8:24 where the album switches to clean electric guitar and stops being acoustic guitar (of course now he plays with his piezo haha). You played it well and it sounded great, I just thought I would point that out.

Impressive technique, I'll give you that! However, even though you have all that expensive equipment, your tone isn't very good at all. There are numerous transcription errors with wrong/left out notes here and there. Besides your tone (both the one on your amp and the one that comes from "you" and your fingers) you also need to work on bending, intonation, vibrato and most importanly - your timing! You mostly stress the beat, but sometimes you're behind it. Mostly noticeable on the delay solo.

Yes, I have! Everyone has the right to criticise if they know what they are talking about. It's a fact, I don't have the chops that Bruno does, but I know what I'm talking about and I know what needs to be improved upon - both in my own and Bruno's case. I was giving him CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, I wasn't bashing him with mindless "LOL U SUCK!"-type comments. Everyone needs to improve on certain things, myself included - I'm just telling Bruno what he should do to get even better than what he his.

I'm definitely not saying that all the other comments are wrong. "In the eye of the beholder" you know? People have different taste and musical taste evolve just like everything else. In 2-3 years from now, some of these people may not think the same anymore because their standards have risen and their taste evolved. That goes for his tone, at least. Though, the transcription errors and his timing problem is a FACT. If you can't hear it, then maybe your musical ear hasn't evolved that much yet.

He may be a brilliant player, but he can still improve intonation (because many of the notes are slightly off-tune, which can be measured) and bending (same thing; off-tune notes can be measured).
