I have seen various examples of your Djembe technique, and it's pretty good, but probally most purest don't like the remo head. I have numerous djembes with traditional heads, however being as i don't live in a climate which is warm mostly, I would like to put a remo, or two on old drum with broken heads as the remos wont change much with the weather and I can use them as all weather drums, I like the sound of yours what head is it, and was it difficult to get the tension.
