  • ty nice things happening here

  • This person know how to play but lack of loud and soft

  • i hate that last section!! my left hand's so weak.. i have problem playin many pieces especially now that i'm in grade 8 n takin music as a school subject..

  • WHERE IS A GOOD PLACE TO TURN THE PAGE? SORRY! IM REALLY STUCK ON THAT. :O PLEASE REPLY! SORRY BOUT DA CAPS LOCK! LOL =]

  • @dasiblings photocopy the lastpage, stick it on the second so it is easier to refer

  • @MODIFICATION17 thanks but we're not allowed to photocopy the pages! :O

  • nice technique but u play it a bit like a robot:0

  • i can play like that

  • i could never play it that fast!!!

  • i did this and epically messed it up at points. argh. too fast. well... i passed my exam! =D

  • i could do way better and im in grade four

  • @skater970 Well, im grade 8 and i can do 999x better than that -.-"

  • @TheManOfTheme good for u nobody cares.

  • very good! but your hands are low. but still good!!

  • the exam only took ten minutes.

It wasnt that hard after all

    :)

  • its too staccato and the dynamics are awful

  • OH MY GOD. my exam is in 2 weeks, i haven't even got the A piece completely done i'm so nervous. I keep messing up, i can get the first bit up to speed, and keep messing up some bits, then the last half of the second page i can't get it up to speed. i've practiced it over and over but i just can't. GAH.

  • preparing for my exam soon....

trying to get at that speed and Im running out of time.....:(

  • @00000yk my exam is next wednesday and i think i'm going to fail... :(

  • @00000yk same

  • excellent! you are truly gifted! :)

  • I was preparing this piece, giving up now... I am not going to make it and running out of time.. Sad!

  • I was preparing for this song. I gave up now... not going to make it this exam. sad!

  • lol mine sounds NOTHING like this haaha i have a long way to go

  • @Alicejustmetidy my exam is in 2 weeks. O_o

  • holy....

It's meant to go THAT fast?!

-.- and I thought I was going well.....

  • @TheJakwak totally having the same problem there i had no idea it even sounded like this

  • Are you being serious? I'm not even at that tempo.. I'm like half that speed :/

    Ohh maan!!

  • @NuriahHaleem u dont hav to be that fast. they rather u play a bit slower (100?) and show dynamics than to rush to the end.

  • i hope i won't flunk my exam D:

  • Good !

  • I've bn doing thi piece but ata lot slower pace but I think this is goof for me to have heard this bcuz it will spur me to get it up to this speed

  • I agree that your playing is a little bit faster than the requirement for a Grade 5 student. Probably you have already possessed the skill required for higher grades.

  • @MrEbaby2010 It's vivace.

  • Awesome stuff.

I think its a bit fast though...

  • the tempo is correct the articulation is correct but the only problem is the dynamics.......but i had difficulties on it too.....should try to do more piano(italian term)other than forte the whole piece.....

  • Comment removed

  • You had to repeat????????????????????

  • @Jacelynne123 yes

  • yes

  • Omg, Yhuu Play This Fast. Perfect Playin, Good Tempo (: This Is Anothaa Im Doin For My Exam xD

  • It seems too staccato especially in the right hand because you are playing it so fast, which isn't necessary :/ it needs to be relaxed into more!

  • PERFECT!

  • also chose this one and b:1, c1 lol all 1s

  • your piano is bad, not your skill

  • How come you dont use the ornaments that are in the score?

  • i am doing this piece.. And wow ur good. Well I didn't really know it was this fast. I always play it in a moderate pace.. So are we supposed to play it this way. My teacher doesnt say anything when i play it like the way I play..

  • awesome!

  • To all those saying it's too fast, how it is played here really isn't that much faster than the prescribed speed, although it is faster than necessary. I'm studying for my Grade 5, and this piece is tying my fingers in knots at only half the speed I'm meant to be playing it, so I'm amazed at the speed and control shown here! Working dynamics into this at speed must be a difficult thing to do.

  • @ashleykampta i agree. That IS the pretty much expected speed for grade 5 for this piece. only a tensiest tiniest bit slower. but otherwise than that hes perfect at this piece! wow!

  • I liked it a lot. It was a bit fast but what was good was that you were in control. Needed more dynamics. I'm doing my grade 5 next term and going to do this piece, the swallow and in the groove!

  • to fast!!! slow down

  • @dudechopin It's meant to be a fast piece

  • u played perfectly smooth !

  • wow!! this is awesome!! Im not playing this piece for my exam but I just learn it for fun and I cant ever play it so fast like you!! great job!! (:

  • A bit too fast. The metronome mark is only 112 for a crotchet. Nicely played though!

  • Well, like everyone else is saying, this is certainly amazingly fast! However, is this a bad thing? Especially with the short attention spans we have these days. You seem to play it almost perfectly at this tempo, so good luck to you. You certianly shouldn't find the step up to grade 6 too difficult.

  • uhm isn't this guy a teacher? lol.

  • Dynamics were used in this piece. It's very well played

  • well maybe yeah but try some dynamics

  • all your pieces are like flippin fast dude slow down

  • thats how fast the song is

  • The piece is meant to be crotchet= 112

  • your technical aspect is a excellent example! but try to work on dynamics because you didnt do any! = ( but still! great effort! who am i to judge you? your awsome!

  • I'm doing it.

  • @Jacomania243 same here!

  • How come you never use dynamics? Shame because otherwise it was very good.

  • @cookiemonster1725 I thought he used dynamics very well! Although I reckon his recording equipment probably picked it up as well as it would sound in real life.

  • @cookiemonster1725 Maybe he does but the camera sucks at recording the volume.

  • very, very. very good!!!!

    how amaz u've played

    5+1 stars!

  • no dynamics but very good

  • How did u play so fast! Amazing! XD

  • @rawrdinosaur95 nope its pretty big step if you do not practice much, like if you practice 50 minutes everyday now then you must practice about 70 minutes a day

  • very nice piano playing but wheres the sound difference?

  • Bloody hell, wish I could play it like that! Very nicely done indeed. :)

  • I'm doing this for my grade 5 in about a month... not gonna lie my fingers are never gonna move that fast. Ahhhh well..

  • good luck im doing mine on wednesday

  • Loved.

  • do people generally pick 3 pieces and just work on them or would you play all the songs at that level and pick your strongest?

  • I choose the three that I like after my teacher plays me them all, then just work at them :)

  • nice teacher, rather than force feeding you pieces you hate!

  • generally learn 3 pieces

  • Well done! I did this for my grade 5 too! :) got 28/30!!

Just a little tip, it seems way to fast to begin with. I think the ABRSm Grade 5 book gives a recomended speed of 112.

  • nice i cant play this piece quite as good yet

  • 112 for a beat

  • You need to improve the contrast from piano to forte, but other than that it was amazing

  • Hi, i just have my G5 pieces yesterday and my teacher choose A1 for me, hopefully i can play this pieces just as you coz it really nice, tq.

  • is this the correct tempo of the piece :O ?

  • yeah It Is really fast Is'nt it! :L

  • Gosh! I'm sitting my Grade 5 next month playing this! I don't think I'll be quite as fast as this though! :)

  • yeah, it sounds almost two fast near the start! but he does the semiquavers amazingly well. i guess that's what can make it a problem if you play it too fast for your own pace, semiquavers in the left hand get all sloppy. just like they do with me :P

  • PERFECT!!

  • jst got my grade 5 book yesterdai nd im playin this :s

  • I want ur hands XD

    can we exchange XD?

  • i feel better now-_-

i made a lot of practice . orz

but i always play very loud.

my finger don't even know how to play quietly XD

  • i can only play the first part as fast as that. the rest are all slow

  • Are you a teach?

    I like 59:00-1:06!!

  • holyy! i cant play this fast, and im freaking out as my exam is on this friday.

  • is it supposed to be as staccato as this?

  • *jaws drop* cant play that fast. my teacher was like "dont play the last part..."

  • o gosh. i'm going to have the exam a few weeks later..but my fingers don't listen to me =.=

  • Good Luck. :D

  • I playing Vivace assai, all my friends at school say I'm good at it but they clearly dont play piano!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOL

  • brilliant! hope my exam goes well today, I'm doing this, B3 and C3

  • You should post a video up of C3, no one else has :( lol i have no idea what A piece to pick

  • yeah I will do, look out for it. I'm surprised no-one has done it, its a nice piece, it might be because of the sparse bar lines and lack of key signature

  • you should picks this one ;D LOL. i am a bit late and you probs have Chosen :D

  • Wow, you're absolutely brilliant. Hope I can get to this level by November :)

  • aww... how long my practice should be if i want my playing to be that great???

  • 30-35 minutes a day should be sufficient.

  • I'm doing Grade 5 soon and I have to learn this piece. Thanks you - it is so helpful to hear it being played. Thanks so much!

  • It is quite hard to keep the left hand going on those semi quavers at such a hard speed! Often my fingers get caught up. And my hands aren't really bit enough for the octaves. =[

    I'm only 13. =[

  • um i am 14 and can handle the octaves fine, just relax and practise dont try to run before you can walk

  • Argh, I hate the semiquavers in the left hand, they're what's stopping me from mastering the piece.

  • me too!

  • I can do them and I'm 11!

  • Looks guys, I don't really care about what ages you can do them.

Lets face it, some peoples hands are bigger than others, that's all I'm saying.

  • Ah, I see how to play some of those fiddly bits in the second page now. Thanks! :)

  • oh my goodnes!!! that was wonderful !!! except the dynamics though.......but braVO!!!!

  • thankyou this helped me with the last page i struggled now i dont so thanks

  • this is brilliant :D:D

i cant hear the dynamics though it might be the video :) x

  • The videos are great, it's helped me to pick which pieces to choose to study for grade 5.

  • Wonderful! Thank you very much for this video. It helps me so much in playing this piece.

  • thank you very much for your support (from mexico)

  • Lovely

  • Thanks a lot.
