i was doing lateral raises with fifty five pounds....i thought it was cheating to push them like that....I think it's how I hurt the very boddom of my traps...in the middle by my spine.....????
@jareds1007 Rob is pretty strong and he was using very little body english to bring the weight up. Anytime you grab a weight, you've gotta know that you can push, pull, or lift it without injuring yourself and if you do sustain injury, more than likely that weight was too heavy or your form was just off.
@bodybldrmarcus so you've never heard of that?....my neck keeps getting "kinks," in it...but not when i'm lift...ing.when I"m doing stupid stuff like reaching for the remote...or the soap.....is it still effective for the building of mass to not be a little more deliberate...or push up slower with the lateral raises? anyway...you guys look great and you look very strong, thanks for posting these gread vids...I'm getting a lot of ideas that I hope help me in my quest.
@jareds1007 Sports injuries, whether severe or minor, always affect just normal activities more than anything. When I train a body part I will generally pick a weight that will allow me to perform the movement effectively. Yeah, it may not look very heavy, but I can guarantee that every fiber of the muscle is being activated. And every exercise is going to be different. Some exercises I will always use more weight because it's supposed to build mass and heavy weight is the only way to do that.
I have had both shoulders operated on and shoulder press 225lbs for reps and bench in the mid 300's, 4 surgeries on my right knee and squat 500lbs, surgery on my L5/S1 and deadlift 500lbs. I believe any injured body part can be trained but be smart about it and listen to your body.
i have a question and i would appreciate if someone can help me out..i dislocated my shoulder...however its fully healed and already did 4 weeks of light training. is there any danger of dislocation to occur again when preforming heavy sets?
@futb0lista7777777 I would consult your physician about this because they'd know best based on the damage that was done to your shoulder and your recovery success. From a safety point, I wouldn't push any heavy weight unless you truly have the 'go ahead' from your doc.
@bodybldrmarcus iight thanks bro...but based on your experience do you think i can lift heavy not necessarily workout my shoulder but i mean work on biceps heavy...... well that affect my shoulder when carrying something will it cause to much pressure? again based on your POV..
@futb0lista7777777 My POV is that if you feel strong enough to train a body part that once suffered an injury, then train it, but just know that you are taking a chance-but what bodybuilder doesn't take chances when he or she is tossing weight around? Injuries come with the territory but in your case, I'd just be extra cautious. Stay strong bro.

@futb0lista7777777 All you can do is try and see how you feel. I will never tell you to or not to lift heavy because it is your body but if it were me, I would train to what my comfort level affords me.
Great video bro!!
