Exactamente un ano, de manera similar un buque portacontenedores Mumbai se hundio frente a la costa en el, Mar Arabigo. Cerca de 250 contenedores cayeron al mar, muchos de ellos cargados con productos quimicos peligrosos. Este tipo de acontemientos da lugar a problemas ecologicos, mas a menudo terminan en desastres ambientales.

I once saw a similar report of a ship that lost its cargo and this cargo ran ashore near a village somewhere in the UK. The next day many villagers rode brand-new motor-cycles. I would love to see that report again, Does anybody know what report I am talking about?

yes i think so.

Also in the Isles of Scilly (near where i live) in the UK, many ships have lost cargo (like doors) and the next day the villages all have brand new doors.

I know a guy who was bringing back a new yacht from France and POW- hit a stray container. Apparently it happens all the time.

It is a big problem, typically they don't quite sink, at least not immediatly, and only a small corner is visible bobbing above the waterline, worse than an iceberg!
