  • YAY.... i love you phil!!!

  • Just got back from holiday so catching up. This is a great video I love the way you put it together, superb editing. Great to see another part of the world and all the places you left smiles for people to see. Those smiles would have rippled throughout the city. Cheers, Lesley

  • man nice art, i was wondering if one of ur catagories could be like legos idk but anyways nice vid cant wait to see more

  • at first i thought "smily faces? thats not very artistic or original" then i saw what they came together as and thought "oh wow! that really is quite good that rules!" and my only question that remains is: did u get any strange looks from people wondering what a grown man was doing on his hands and knees drawing smileys?

  • you are so godamn good - I'm leaving you notes all over your sites - I love it - there's always someone who belongs to the right now - 2007 - that's you philinthe circle - expletive gr8!!

  • Duuude, this was better than the leaves.

  • phil... is so sweet... i wish i had enough time to do that...

  • That was AWESOME!

  • Are you allowed to do that?

  • I see spreading the pics around with no strict plan to be better than spreading with some "point" - it would cause some more possible meanings, which could harm the pure beauty of the random spread. This way makes it less thought-out, but more real and felt.

    Love your work, Phil ;o))

  • Dude, I love this one! The way it was done, you always take so much into consideration, You think of every single little square, and how it must look to make its 'piece of the puzzle' work.

I've said it once, I've said it a million times, and I'll say it a million more in the future,

Your work is amazing, and I aspire to be like you!

    <3

    JessiDlux

  • awesome.

    really.

    just awesome.

  • you.. are a true artist.

  • i think you'll change the world some day

  • I want to know how you see the whole picture in your head and then know how to draw it piece by piece without seeing the whole in front of you. God has blessed you with a great gift my friend.

  • Bravo!

  • cool stuff phil, this is the first post , i thought, where the video was more artistic than the piece. good stuff

  • can i plz just ask.. what is your goodbye art its allways a face.. but what is it?

  • Phil, your gift puts so much love and light into a wounded and suffering world. May God bless and sustain you. Namaste!

  • Phil, somebody should make TV show for you to host.

  • You are really awesome. I'm hoping one day you'll show us the entire process...I mean from the 1st sketch that you use to show you what pieces you'll need to create the entire piece. I'd also like to see reactions that people get from your art, because I know it has to touch others just as much as it touches my heart.

  • phil do you have it planned out on a piece of paper before u do this

because if yu cud remember all of those tiny portraits i applaud you for that.

  • awesome work...:]

  • it has to be very nice to walk around the city spotting your smiley faces...surely it will put a smile on a lot of persons. Great work even with the video, it came out really nice with the sound of you drawing on the sidewalk at the end...perfect final touch! Congratulations for the article!
